(SPOILER) Dollhouse preview with Eliza Dushku on "Extra". Eliza is interviewed and we see clips from Dollhouse.

wow, that's amazing!

Nice to see that the exchange we got to see when the first "Echo"-preview hit the web survived the retooling. And now we finally know who she raised the gun and knife against!

ETA: since afaik "Man on the Street" was the fifth episode produced, that would confirm David Straiton as the director of that ep.

Nice clip. Short and sweet.
Never ceases to amaze me how crap a lot of TV fights look behind the scenes and yet how (largely) convincing they look on screen. Movie magic.
wiesengrund, I'm pretty sure the "Echo" preview you see in this clip is indeed not in "Ghost". Or there at all. Fox are still giving out promo clips from "Echo", for some reason I can't figure.
The crappy fight scenes are , indeed , surprising . I love watchin behind the scenes with fighting routines ...Itīs so lame, and yet so good when itīs done properly . I loved the Mr Peniketīs( not sure how to spell it) position in the fight ....
Every time I see Eliza with a knife, I have a Faith flashback.
I loved the Mr Peniketīs( not sure how to spell it)...

A common issue, but you do know you're on the Internet and could look it up, right? ;)

Also, it's right there in the tags.

The logic might be that they paid for it, and budgets are tight, so they might as well get some use out of bits of it. Brief clips in a promo before the show has aired won't really be remembered by anyone later. Unless you're us.
Unless you're us. Of course. Good line.
Eliza and Pennikett? (Pennikeet? Parakeet?) ; ) in a fight, puts me in a happy place...err.. did I type that out loud ? 'Cos, suppose to stay in my head, all quiet like. (damn typing fingers that doth not listen!)

And for my first official post *drum roll please*.... As said above, mostly scenes from the original pilot "Echo". Loving "Assassin" Echo taking on Agent Paul Ballard. Dying of curiousity to find out what episode that will be in?
^I think that may be in the original first episode that will never ever air.
The footage with the fight, I believe, is not from the original first episode. It's newer. It's the dark basement conversation stuff that's old footage.

That dark basement scene came across as a little stilted anyway
maybe the new footage is take from MOTS altogether.

I am so looking forward to dollhouse, from what i've read i'm glad that they haven't just decided to do a first episode that is jam packed with action just for the sake of it, I think it's a brave move, but I think It might be a good one.
HEALTH.

(wtf?)
There's a link mentioned in the clip that leads to photos of Eliza at various times. Interesting outfits and an amazing smile (as always).

Isn't that why they retooled the first episode, to do exactly what you say they didn't do? Or am I nuts? (Both are likely.)
I actually liked that basement scene. Just read the script for the original pilot - hope it (the shot episode) will be included in the Dollhouse Season One DVD someday as an extra or something.
