The importance of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. TV.com's list of Top 100 everything of 2008 includes Dr. Horrible at a very nice No. 4 spot.

It's always nice to see some Dr.Horrible appreciation.

Very well deserved.
Plus you can watch Dr. Horrible and several of the other shows on the list in streaming HD on your HDTV (hooked to a computer) on Hulu.com! :)
So... success? ;)
Very nice list to be apart of. Everything else in the top 10 is deserving (well except maybe Letterman).

It always makes me smile when Dr. Horrible gets the recognition that it deserves.
Lost's "The Constant"? Really? It is a reasonably good episode, and probably the best of Lost's season, but...really? The best thing on television (besides hd)? Really?

Maybe I need to rewatch it, because right now I'm not really getting it.
Very well deserved, Dr Horrible love is always good. Not too sure about Lost, although I've not actually seen the ep so I could be wrong , I just think the show's a little over-rated. Loving that Pushing Daisies made the top 10, it's so odd it's brilliant.
The Constant was an amazing, revelatory, and damn good episode of television that totally deserves that spot (subjective as it is).
And they're right about why The Constant is so good: It's a near-perfect distillation of Lost's ability to balance its scifi aspect with its emotional aspect.
Have to agree about The Constant. Excellent episode. Possibly the best of the series, during a season in which Lost came back with a vengeance after two weak years.
It's fun to watch Lost's triumphant (re)ascent in the pop culturesphere. It was written off by so many naysayers for a while there that it became like the Little Engine That Could. That ending to Season Three blew my mind in a way that few other TV series have.

I'm glad, of course, to see "Horrible" so prominently featured on this list. I'm also thrilled by the inclusion of Omar from "The Wire." An outstanding character played by an outstanding actor.

Damn right, Anonymous1. Vote, everyone! The more exposure and accolades Dr. Horrible gets, the better. I still can't believe that it is so high-ranking on Amazon's sales chart for DVDs. What an astounding success.
huh. Well, I guess I'll be rewatching "The Constant" soon. :P
Adding to "The Constant" love, but realizing different strokes for different folks. I will say it's one of only two episodes in several years that I immediately rewound and rewatched because I was totally blown away, the other being BSG's "Exodus".
cabri, even if "The Constant" didn't hit me all that hard, I can't argue with "Exodus" (probably BSG's finest hour to date).
Dr. Horrible takes note on twitter.

For those who aren't following the previous thread (now in the Whedonesque archives) or Twitter about the Canadian Amazon.ca release of the DVD and CD, the DVD is back up for pre-ordering (with a release date of January 13 now). The CD's release date is the 13th, but for whatever reason it isn't available for pre-ordering, d'oh. I'm in the midst of placing a new order 'cause I really want the DVD, plus comics to get it above the $39 line for free shipping, and maybe I can add the CD in the next week if Amazon.ca clears it.

I hope Dr. Horrible leads to some equally compelling high-quality-level TV-ish/movie-ish/even event-style internet content (pro or amateur efforts, doesn't matter, only how it comes out). Regardless of what the economy may or may not do to the rest of filmed, paid-for entertainment, I'm hoping for interesting times ahead on the 'net.

"The Constant" is awesome, as are other parts of Season 4. If you have spare time that you want to spend on TV, try out Lost if you haven't already, or get back into it if you're willing to take the risk. For those more cautious, just wait until May 2010 and I'm sure myself and many many others will be more than happy (or frustrated) to tell you in a non-spoiler'd way whether it was worth the 6-year investment. I currently love the show, but they could still drop the ball. Doesn't mean the good parts wouldn't have been worth it, just that the ultimate experience will have been something of a letdown. We'll see...
