Blu-Ray Review: Cult of "Serenity" will grow with great release.
From December 30th, a review of the Serenity Blu-Ray Release. I don't recall having seen it here. They like it :).

As for the rest: how many of these special features are actually new for Blu-ray? I haven't really read up on other release mentions here, seeing as I don't have a Blu-ray player anyway :).

It's exactly the hope most fans expressed after Serenity failed to be the huge hit we'd all secretely hoped for: that it'd be a slow-burning, Donnie Darko-like indy hit.
So it'll be Mal's sister in the sequel ? ;)
Extras wise, IIRC there're two new commentaries plus a reunion round-table with Joss, Nathan and Ron, think that's about it (though depending on which editions you have, there're probably extras that will be new to the individual viewer).

Also: thanks for the extra's update. I'd certainly like to see those, but I'm still not shelling out for a Blu-Ray player (I still maintain we don't need next generation DVDs... the original format hasn't even been around that long, when compared to the time period that VHS was around).
