Happy Birthday, Marc Blucas! Our favorite Initiative soldier turns 37 today.

Happy Birthday Marc, I always loved Riley and was glad he got away from Buffy.
Happy Birthday, Marc! While I spent much of season four* longing for Riley's glorious battlefield death, you I wish long life and prosperity! (How would a Vulcan put that?)

ETA *and five.

Happy birthday, Marc!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Marc! I always felt that Riley was a very under appreciated character on Buffy. A good friend of mine who passed away a few years ago grew up with Marc in PA. She was 2-3 years older than him and to her he would always be famous for his exploits on the basketball court. When I think about Marc it always brings up fond memories of Sheila (my late friend.) He'll always draw my interest to his productions because of this. I love Marc Blucas.
Happy birthday Marc. I always loved Riley, still watch season 4 to see him, yummy.
I wonder if .

Most of Riley's best parts were in Season 5, though I guess they really did need to get him out of the way to get Buffy a little more on her own to go through the remaining trials of that year. I wonder how the rest of the season would've looked with him in it. For some reason I never wondered whether he would've gotten a call about Buffy's death, if Willow had a phone number he could be contacted at, since he was kinda just whisked away. He was out of my mind after he was written out.

Yes, Riley = major man-beef eye candy too.
Happy birthday Marc!

I had a huge crush on Riley when Buffy was first on. I still sometimes wonder whether or not Riley's wife is a Robot, she was too perfect.

I'm thinking not. I can't remember which episode it was, but at some point Buffy had to call in the army but didn't get to talk to Riley directly... just spoke to some fake florist or something like that. So I'm guessing nobody could talk to him.
The Killer In Me I think that was?

I always wondered whether Riley was called or heard about Joyce's death. He broke up with Buffy fairly soon before that and was around while she was sick so it'd seem like something he'd want to know about.

Anyway, Happy Birthday Marc!
Happy Birthday Marc! After David, he's definitely my favorite Buffy man-candy.
James Marsters and the very funny parts Spike had in season 4 along with Marc's Riley is one of the reasons 4 is my favorite season. I really only cared for David as Angelus, he was awesome then.
Happy Birthday to the man who brought a plausibly R*p*bli*c*n character to life in the widdershinsish Buffyverse!
Oh, if only I could believe in Republicans who would happily lend a hand hanging the "Lesbian Alliance" poster....

Happy Birthday Marc: always an integral piece of the Buffy puzzle.
smfos: I never went to UC-Sunnydale :-). Besides, I'm not good with ladders. Marc and Riley are both jocks.
