(SPOILER) Dichen Lachman and Fran Kranz talk Dollhouse. Video interview with TV Guide. And Access Hollywood has a video interview with Eliza, Fran, Tahmoh and Dichen from the same event as well.

That's the second time I've seen Fran say he hasn't watched any of the episodes. I wonder if he's saving it for premiere night, or just doesn't care so much, prefers to focus on the actual working, hates to watch himself act, or any of a hundred other reasons not to watch.
I don't think many actors watch their shows.
Mods maybe add this other video interview, from Access Hollywood to this item.
That would make sense. It's fun seeing actors who you know will become firm fan favourites.
So far, I'm already in love with Tahmoh. He had me at Comic-Con.
Fran can watch what he wants, but if I were him, I'd be telling everyone I'd seen it and it's awesome! I've seen his car and frankly, he should be promoting with the best of 'em! |-)~

(note, I have actually seen his car, but I mean no disrespect, it's quite likely better than mine!)
Huh. I've been completely avoiding spoilers, but have been wondering what happened to Enver. So I skimmed the synopsis on the official site and he's a completely different character? Like they did with November? I was looking forward to the ensemble aspect and different actives...weird. Sorry, this is probably really old news.
Just watched the Access Hollywood interview with Eliza. In describing inspiration for the show she mentions how the internet means consumers have whatever they want at their fingertips.

I now have an image of going to the Dollhouse's website, picking a doll, putting together the personality I want and submitting an order! 30 minutes or less or it's free?
I tried to do that, but they sent me a bobw1o doll by mistake.
Uh oh, they give you your money back?
No but they offered to send me a toy car to go with it.

Back to the matter at hand: Anyone spot any Harry Lennix in video interviews yet?
It looks like they've modified the FOX description of the show and have given away some stuff, hacksaway.
bobw1o, a Dollhouse customer web site is a great idea!

Or is he? Hmm...

I mean with all the mind-wiping, memory replacements, personality implants and actives that can become anyone you want, things in this show can be very different than what they first appear to be. And just because someone starts as one character doesnít mean that he canít be or become anotherÖ ; -)

And Anuris adds another great idea. If the Dollhouse gets frustrated with someone, can it "reboot" that person?
Enver was credited as Lubov at the last So Fox photoshoot too. What are they aiming for? A Big Reveal in episode 7 that Lubov is in fact an Active called Victor? So that anyone who has seen the first trailer is pretty much spoiled?
But there arenít that many people who saw the first trailer. Besides advertisers and foreign TV broadcasters (who probably wonít watch the show anyway), Whedon fans (many of whom are spoiled voluntarily) and some casual viewers on the internet, who else saw the trailer? I imagine that for all the other people that will hopefully tune in and donít know that much about the show, it can indeed be a pretty big and shocking reveal.

People who read the original pilot are probably finding this possibility not only likely, but familiar.

Not sure if that should be invisi-text'd, but if so, I don't know how. Sorry.
So that anyone who has seen the first trailer is pretty much spoiled?

Your average viewer (read: intelligent but not actively following Dollhouse news bit by bit) is unlikely remember that kind of detail from a trailer.
I really hope that Enver's name in Dollhouse won't be Lubov. It is a girl's name in Russia (it is translated as "love"), I wonder why they didn't look that up when choosing a name for their male character (unless he's not into girls ;).
Looks like I thought "Dichen" was pronounced differently than it actually is, so I was glad to get the correction here before I actually said her name to anyone.
I didn't wanna be spoiled, for example. They shouldn't put spoilers in the trailer.
Or, don't watch the trailer.
That was a very frustrating video player. :( Twice I got kicked back to the beginning before I had reached the halfway point. Oh, the joys of broadband! *cries*
Bix, a Harry Lennix interview.

And some Eliza.

And finally some Joss!

So there we go. :)

ETA: Just noticed the Joss and Eliza interviews are many months old. But the Harry Lennix interview is new.

How do you think I feel? I just watched the first episode again and it totally spoiled me for the first episode!

I hate everyone I know.
I knew it. Every freaking person here has seen the pilot except me. Don't even try to hide it-- I can see your text.

If the internet was truly a social experience, you'd be able to whisper secrets unintelligibly just within earshot for maximum dramatics.
I know, that was lame of me to post... I kinda hate me, too!
However will zeitgeist distract himself from all those awful feelings about himself.

b!X-- unless asking for the screener on Twitter is a clever mislead.
Hah. It really isn't.
He IS very clever, our b!X...
I've made a rule that I can't watch the pilot if it gets leaked in February, because then I might as well wait for the premiere.

C'mon, Ghost, you've got 15 days to leak for me.
I made that rule about the original pilot script. Turns out, rules? Highly breakable.
No way I'm leakin' it, they know where I live!
If I knew where you lived, I could just break in and steal it.

At least I got to see BSG tonight, instead of having to wait for Hulu tomorrow.
The original pilot script is driving me crazy. I've got it, as well as the audition bits for Adelle and a few others, but I'm worried there will be stuff in there that Joss ends up using later on.

But it's sitting RIGHT. THERE. Bah!
BSG blew my tiny little mind tonight, I loved it. Back on topic, can't wait for Dollhouse to air and the endless comment threads to follow.
I think I'll skip the pilot in protest of everyone else, including luxury watch bloggers, having seen it already.

Luxury watch bloggers who think his name is "Wheaton" no less. They get to see it.

I meant rules about not looking at what was leaked, not the leaking itself.
Although I do think starting a We Hate Zeitgeist For Not Leaking The Dollhouse Pilot Club is not a bad idea.
:( I haven't seen anything. *crawls into corner and quietly weeps*
Harry Lennix interview

Very cool interview, thx for the link, Jobo. Should maybe be linked up above as well.
