Beck and Tok from Brian Lynch's Spike comics "Asylum" & "Shadow Puppets" to return. "Whatever happened to...? I think maybe we're gonna find out later in 2009. But you didn't hear it from me."

Technically it's not an announcement, but I think it's pretty safe to say that we will see these characters again. Maybe with Spike, or on their own. I'm hoping with Spike.

I've always wanted to read a comic (preferably an arc rather than a one-shot) with Beck and Tok fighting demons together. I liked how they played off each other. There are enough differences, and similarities, to make a great buddy/road adventure comic. Beck is trying to find her own style. Tok is tough, cool and together. They need a side-kick though. Who better than Betta George?

Much as I like how Brian Lynch writes Spike, and Spike's interaction with both Beck and Tok, I wouldn't mind if he isn't in the book/series. It would be nice to have more books with female characters that don't revolve around a man.

I'm looking forward to the book/series. I trust Mr. Lynch to bring us a good story with interesting characters, good character moments, a balance between drama and humor, and unexpected twists. I'm also a fan of Franco Urru. So here's hoping the Lynch/Urru team remains intact.
Love those two! Can't wait to see them back in action!
