There could be shoes involved. Or, conversely, slouching.

Though zz9 has a point. However if you think about, since they renamed the show, technically Cameron is in the title, before Sarah Connor herself. Well, if this much pimping of Summer, does help them get another season, I don't think Lena would really mind. But having none of the Connors spotlighted, is a little bit weird.

You know thats my biggest thing about TSCC. Like, no offence ment at all to the actress, but Sarah Conner was mis-cast. Plain and simple. She has grown on me a bit, but its still this thing which stops it being, in my opinion, in league at all with the movies. But hey, ill stick with it till the end.

Add Katee Sackhoff at 10pm, over ice, shaken, not stirred. Serve in chilled glass with several olives...

ETA that this comment made sense when ProgGrrl's had accidentally been posted three times in rapid succession.

Correct. BSG has been unbelievable since it got back. Gonna be one hell of a Friday night lineup for a while!

*faint*
Haunt | February 09, 17:56 CET
But yeah this is really great, it shows that FOX is actually putting some effort into these two shows IMO, if they're taking the trouble to do this. Pity I don't live in the US so I won't have the pleasure of watching it.. until it inevitably turns up on Youtube of course :)
And ya know I’ve never thought about it but I agree it is kinda where “Sarah Connor” is hardly ever publicised when the show is named after her. The actress seems like a lovely lady but unfortunately she didn’t do much for me in the role either :(

Agreeing here on the Lena part, for me it's Summer who's stealing the show with her performance. She's doing a better job playing a robot pretending to be human then Lena is portraying Sarah Connor as a human. IMHO.

Can someone youtube these intro sequences? I'd love to see them, but they won't appear online otherwise.
flugufrelsarinn | February 10, 00:58 CET
The scary part, is that we'll have a Tahmoh Vs. Tahmoh night, when we reach the BSG finale, since it's slated as a two-parter, and will be shown from 9pm.
Numfar PTB | February 10, 01:29 CET
ETA: Seems like it's a three-parter, starting at 8pm.

Yeah, I know, some of the glass should be replaced with baby oil and an inflatable pool. You know, for safety reasons.

Safety first is what i'm saying, at all times.
(and i'm not sure Lena Headey's the issue, more how she's written - unless she's another actress, a la Michelle Ryan, that has trouble emoting through the accent. Either way, I do feel for her a bit with the way she's almost entirely ignored by the publicity. Commercially it makes perfect sense, doesn't change the fact that it's got to smart a little)
Saje | February 10, 03:55 CET
You might be right, but it might be by design. In the last episode before the break, a side character (after almost getting shot) is astounded at Sarah's lack of a reaction. "How can you not feel?" That might be the emotional arc of the 2nd season, as Sarah's psyche is already breaking (instead of bending).
That is the problem when you have a bottled-up character, sometimes it can be mis-interpreted as a lack of range from the actor. (Or sometimes, correctly interpreted.) But I seem to remember the same complaint about Boreanaz, Denisof, and Acker.

Back on Dollhouse-TTSCC, it'll definitely be an interesting day.

Wonder which one Joss is going to watch. :)
jcs | February 10, 06:05 CET
Same thing happened on The Inside with Rachel Nichols.
zeitgeist | February 10, 06:12 CET
(and even if she's written "bottled-up" she could still be cool with it, still feels to me like they've dropped the ball slightly with her character)

I think Linda Hamilton could sympathize. There was this guy called Arnold...
redeem147 | February 10, 07:09 CET
As the movie was called 'Terminator' and he was the Terminator, I dont think its quite the same. The thing is though, in that situation, Linda Hamilton DID hold her own and we all think back on those movies and agree that she was pretty awesome in the role. She was totally badass - and thats the whole point of Sarah Conner, she is this badass who gave 110% to save her son and the world... not (as said above) walked around looking 'annoyed'.
