Summer & Eliza hosting Friday's premiere. At least, according to a poster on TWoP, who saw an ad and got this picture.

Terminatorwiki.fox.com mentions this info as well; it'd be nice to have an official bit of PR to link to, however.
Yeah, I'm looking...haven't found anything official, though. I hesitated about putting up this link until I did, but figured it could be deleted if you guys felt it wasn't substantial enough. The admins here aren't busy or anything right now, are they? ;)
No idea what you are talking about, sir ;).
I saw the commercial during American Dad last night. It's real. I'm amazed they haven't talked about it more.
Summer is taller than Eliza?
Very cool. Hulu just got a new subscriber.
Summer is taller than Eliza?

There could be shoes involved. Or, conversely, slouching.
I thought it was known that Summer is a few inches taller than Eliza. The intarwebz would seem to agree if you search with Eliza commonly listed as 5'4 3/4" or 5'5" and Summer listed as 5'6 1/2" to 5'8".
Summer is also scheduled to co-host Friday's episode of Extra according to the SCC writer's blog.
(http://www.fox.com/blogs/terminator/2009/02/ third one down).
All that glass is freaking me out. What if Cameron and Echo get into a fight? Flying shards everywhere.
Yeah, I know, some of the glass should be replaced with baby oil and an inflatable pool. You know, for safety reasons.
I think it's a really smart move. Now I am envying US viewers...

You heard it here first. Whendonesque: Tackling the big issues.
All that and merging your links together into more easily digestable chunks. Now how much would you pay?
I remember commenting a while ago that Lena Headly must be a bit pissed at the publicity Summer is getting as the "Star" of TSCC and this is another example. She's the eponymous star of the show but Summer gets all the publicity.
HAH! Thanks, zz9, one of the things that I really don't like about TSCC is Lena Heady's sterile acting with emotional ranges going from "pissed" to "worried". Now I can picture her pissed (or worried) behind the scenes too. :)
That's one fine pic of Summer and Eliza. I did say a while ago, I was waiting for this.

Though zz9 has a point. However if you think about, since they renamed the show, technically Cameron is in the title, before Sarah Connor herself. Well, if this much pimping of Summer, does help them get another season, I don't think Lena would really mind. But having none of the Connors spotlighted, is a little bit weird.
I think much of the current promotion is focusing on Summer because of the Joss connection and they can promote her and Eliza in the same way. Lena Headey is featured on the dvd cover and...yeah, I don't know. I agree that Lena gets the short end of the stick, but I don't blame FOX for hyping Summer more. She's the main draw for a lot of people. Plus, you know, Lena's accent might confuse us Americans. ;)

You know thats my biggest thing about TSCC. Like, no offence ment at all to the actress, but Sarah Conner was mis-cast. Plain and simple. She has grown on me a bit, but its still this thing which stops it being, in my opinion, in league at all with the movies. But hey, ill stick with it till the end.
Yowza. Paydirt.

Add Katee Sackhoff at 10pm, over ice, shaken, not stirred. Serve in chilled glass with several olives...
ProgGrrl's really hot on these women, apparently.

ETA that this comment made sense when ProgGrrl's had accidentally been posted three times in rapid succession.

T:SCC definitely outranks Terminator 3... though I assume you mean the movies with Sarah Connor. I find it very logical that the advertising focuses on Summer, since I started watching the show because of her, and she is easily my favorite character. Sarah Connor is probably one of my least favorite characters (though I like her more than that weird T-1000 esque corporate executive lady).
SteppeMerc, I agree its better than T3, but T3 felt way more like Terminator *should* feel, than TSCC.
I've really grown to like Katee Sackhoff. This, mind you, is coming from a Season 2 perspective. Better late than never, people.
Summer and Eliza together in one spot?! Shouldn't that be illegal? Afterall, how much can a moral male handle?

I so crack myself up:)
Hot Damn. I so wish we would get news about DH in the UK. I would be a little bit more patient... but with all the Glau Dushku awesome-ness you are all getting, it's making me jealous!

FOX really are trying. Cool!

Correct. BSG has been unbelievable since it got back. Gonna be one hell of a Friday night lineup for a while!
Okay, about that picture...?

*faint*
Agreed, I had to splash myself with some water!

But yeah this is really great, it shows that FOX is actually putting some effort into these two shows IMO, if they're taking the trouble to do this. Pity I don't live in the US so I won't have the pleasure of watching it.. until it inevitably turns up on Youtube of course :)

And ya know I’ve never thought about it but I agree it is kinda where “Sarah Connor” is hardly ever publicised when the show is named after her. The actress seems like a lovely lady but unfortunately she didn’t do much for me in the role either :(
I'd just like to say that I really approve of that picture. Really really approve....uh...what was I saying. (drool):)
So I'm expected to choose between those lovely ladies? So not fair *pout*

Agreeing here on the Lena part, for me it's Summer who's stealing the show with her performance. She's doing a better job playing a robot pretending to be human then Lena is portraying Sarah Connor as a human. IMHO.
Lena Headey was a pleasent surprise to me starting to watch the show, but if it wasnt for Summer I hadnt started to watch it at all. So I'd say its all about Summer : )
I don't think it's strange for Summer to be considered the star of the show. It's no different to Arnie being considered the star of T2.

Can someone youtube these intro sequences? I'd love to see them, but they won't appear online otherwise.

The scary part, is that we'll have a Tahmoh Vs. Tahmoh night, when we reach the BSG finale, since it's slated as a two-parter, and will be shown from 9pm.
Ouch, that could hurt Dollhouse quite a bit. Especially since the BSG-finale is on the same night as Joss' "Man on the Street", which is quite often mentioned as the episode that kicks off the second half of the season.

ETA: Seems like it's a three-parter, starting at 8pm.

I guess that's what DVRs are for :)
It is a real pity that it clashes with that particular episode. Hopefully, those who would have watched Dollhouse if not for BSG will DVR it
Remember Friday's don't matter cos everyone DVRs anyway, right ? Ahem ;).

*hands zeitgeist a "WWtH&SED ?" - "What Would the Health & Safety Executive Do ?" - badge*

Safety first is what i'm saying, at all times.

(and i'm not sure Lena Headey's the issue, more how she's written - unless she's another actress, a la Michelle Ryan, that has trouble emoting through the accent. Either way, I do feel for her a bit with the way she's almost entirely ignored by the publicity. Commercially it makes perfect sense, doesn't change the fact that it's got to smart a little)

You might be right, but it might be by design. In the last episode before the break, a side character (after almost getting shot) is astounded at Sarah's lack of a reaction. "How can you not feel?" That might be the emotional arc of the 2nd season, as Sarah's psyche is already breaking (instead of bending).

That is the problem when you have a bottled-up character, sometimes it can be mis-interpreted as a lack of range from the actor. (Or sometimes, correctly interpreted.) But I seem to remember the same complaint about Boreanaz, Denisof, and Acker.

Onto the BSG issue, is definitely a 3-parter. The 1st part is acutally premiering the previous week, the March 23rd, showing is a re-run, which from the link wiesengrund posted, is part of the full day season 4 marathon they're running prior to the finale.

Back on Dollhouse-TTSCC, it'll definitely be an interesting day.
Up against the BSG finale? That's terrible.
Wonder which one Joss is going to watch. :)

Same thing happened on The Inside with Rachel Nichols.
The difference there is, just within 13 episodes she'd come "unbottled" a few times, really gave Ms Nichols a chance to show what she could do. Where were we, 18 (effective) eps in before Sarah even started to show cracks ?

(and even if she's written "bottled-up" she could still be cool with it, still feels to me like they've dropped the ball slightly with her character)
Oh, I don't disagree. I do think they've neglected her.

I think Linda Hamilton could sympathize. There was this guy called Arnold...

As the movie was called 'Terminator' and he was the Terminator, I dont think its quite the same. The thing is though, in that situation, Linda Hamilton DID hold her own and we all think back on those movies and agree that she was pretty awesome in the role. She was totally badass - and thats the whole point of Sarah Conner, she is this badass who gave 110% to save her son and the world... not (as said above) walked around looking 'annoyed'.
That's just the point, this Sarah Connor is suposed to be totally bad-ass, especially after the events of T1 and T2 and she just isn't. She just whines and over-protects John. She should know better. To me it's a character flaw, and Lena just looks disinterested when she delivers her lines, undermining the whole Sarah Connor power.
Sarah's my next favorite character after Cameron. Any scene with the two of them is automatic awesome. I love their dynamic. Sarah always acts dismissive of her, yet Cameron is the only one Sarah ever opens up to.
