(SPOILER) Stars of the Whedonverse. As Dollhouse premieres, MSN TV takes a look at the actors and actresses who have worked with Joss Whedon over the years. Includes spoilery Dollhouse photos.

Surprisingly comprehensive list featuring a few photos of the castmates that I for one have never seen. So satisfying to see our favorite actors and actresses enjoying post-Whedon success!

Well, first, the obligatory grumble-grumble that Amber an d Mercedes weren't included.

That said, back to reality. Very pretty picture of Smidge, she looks different somehow. HIMYM is considered a cult comedy ???? I didn't realize Charisma had a steady role in Greeks, that's good. And I'd never noticed before that Eliza was quite that . . . pneumatic. Nice that Felicia is considered a known name now.

Wow, all the pictures I've seen of Tony Head, I never realized he had heterochromia. I think that's so lovely!!!

Thoughts:
It's great that so many have found success beyond the verse, especially for those that played minor/less-beloved characters (Vincent, Felicia...). Shame that more haven't sprung to higher profile roles (Alexis, Morena...).

Alyson and Alexis are beautiful. Really, you didn't know that?!
Has anyone seen that picture of Amy before? Wow, I can't wait for Dr. Saunders' backstory.

Simon Helberg and David Krumholtz are very questionable, considering the ones that were omitted. Emma Caulfield? Amber Benson? Andy Hallett? Jewel Staite?

Also, I don't love that picture of Nicholas Brendon.

jcs, CrystalSC, snotmonster, Chris inVirginia Tony has very lovely eyes. Quite easy to get lost in, actually. Especially when he's looking intently at you as you try to explain the gift you gave him and not make a complete arse out of yourself.

Off to look at the pretties now.

(Oh, and jcs - my manager & I were just talking about that very thing today @work. He thought he'd throw some Buffy trivia at me and asked "How did Buffy know Giles was a demon?")

ETA: The pic of Tony is, unless memory fails, from the "Buffy" wrap party.

I did a double take with Nicholas Brendon's pic. It didn't look like him at all, I never realised his eyes were that colour and he just looked different, like his nose ect. Fun little read!

Racoon Boy; Emma has an impresive resume` but in the H'wood tradition of "You're only as good as your last film/show" she's been way low visibility lately, her main job being on some kind of cable radio show from what I've heard. She, Iyari, and Clare haven't dropped from sight as totally as Alexis but close.

but yes, Amber's been very busy, so I share your grumble there (and really, my second favorite Mercedes hasn't been laying low e ither)

Um, the reason why it may not look like Nick is probably because its not Nick. It's Kelly his brother. Apparently, Kelly can be Nick for them.

aaalex Well, that's just...dumb. It's not like they were doing a photo shoot - they could've just pulled up a publicity still of Nick.

I didn't think his eyes were the right color.

And I have to question many of the choices - all those one-offs (Like David...Krumholtz? from Numb3rs, who only had a small role in Serenity) who got mentioned because of one-time things they did w/Joss that didn't run nearly as long as Buffy or Angel. (Yes, I realize Firefly didn't run long. But it got a movie.)

NPH makes it, but Marc Blucas doesn't?

Mostly nice pictures, but weird selection.

Yes, it is a weird selection. I don't know why they put a picture of Alexis (they should of had one of Ms Hannigan by herself) because I think that Alexis's post Joss career is the biggest falure (and no, I do not consider marrying your co-star a success) of all the performers that have worked for Joss. I mean, what happened to this man!Since getting married it seems he has been on an endless honeymoon, and has been doing mostly nothing but partying, eating at fancy restraints, and shopping with his wife. Just what does he do today to make a living? Does anybody know?
