James Marsters praises Willow/Tara on-screen kiss. "It wasn't about being gay; it was just about being in love. It was beautiful." (Excerpt from his recent SFX interview).

Well said that man.

I agree with James Marsters the Willow/Tara relationship was so well done it would have seemed strange not to see them kissing like any other couple.
I'm not sure why Marsters felt it necessary to defend the kiss recently. That was almost two years ago now. Surely it's water under the bridge.
Thanks to a couple of people on other boards/forums, I have found that this quote does indeed come from the SFX interview (I'll amend my post accordingly).
In the SFX article, he was comparing the Willow/Tara relationship to the Venetian Heat movie he's about to do, in which he plays a gay man. It sounds like old news in that Contact Music blurb, but it's relevant in the real interview.
