(SPOILER) Wonder Con 09:Dark Horse Panel. First story info on Jane Espenson's arc starting in issue 26.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer's next story arc revolves around "slayers being outlaws and trying to regroup since vampires took charge during the reality show that took place in the last arc", said Atkins. Along with that tidbit of information regarding the main Buffy series, Atkins announced a Tales of the Vampire one shot coming this July, which will essentially be a vampire love story set in season eight of Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Didn't we already know this?
Well, coupling this with the title that Scott Allie revealed at Slayalive, "Retreat", it may look like Slayers are effectively under attack by human forces from issue 26 onwards. And maybe, speculation corner, Oz's werewolves are involved in protecting them.
Simon,I don't believe we did.We knew the title of the arc which is,"Retreat" but we had no story info other than Oz would be in it and it's a big pivotal arc based on comments both Scott Allie and Georges Jeanty made in there Slayalive Q/A's.I think we now have a idea why the title of this arc is,"Retreat" now.

I gotcha, I was confusing the details on the next arc with the current arc.
For what it's worth, Wondercon '09 is a blast. The lovely Felicia Day was at the Browncoats' booth yesterday and was getting bigger crowds than Carrie Fisher. And today we've got the panels for Chuck and TSCC. :-)
