(SPOILER) Promotional Photos for Dollhouse 1x07 "Echoes". As usual, Spoiler TV provides us with the yummy. The press release for this episode can be found here.

Thanx.:-)

I'm really looking forward to this episode, particularly because it should reveal more of Caroline's backstory.

And also because the first episode from Fain & Craft, i.e. "Gray Hour", is so far one of the best.
Wow, I'm 24, so recently out of a large, diverse University. No one dressed like that.
I'm guessing there's a reason for Echo's getup, since no one dresses like that anywhere in everyday life. The black guy that she's talking to, however, is dressed like a typical college student, I think, as are the other students seen in the background.

Looks like all the dolls are out on this assignment, and Victor seems to be imprinted with someone other than Lubov...can't wait to see that.

More Mellie! Yay!
Maybe Echo is going to school in an anime series?
Ashley, that made me laugh out loud.
That is totally it Ashley! I've been staring at that picture for several minutes now (well a few seconds anyway) and I just couldn't place it. Now I get it. She's LARPing as a character from Final Fantasy. All she's missing is a gunblade.
I really hope that's Lubov in the suit. And yeah Echo's outfit is really strange.
Why do you hope it's Lubov in the suit? I'm hoping it's another one of Victor's imprints.

And that is sooo anime. :)
Eliza is totally Catholic school girl-sinful.
On a more serious note, isn't "Echoes" the first half of a two-parter?
It is, Perseo?
You know, my two favorite characters of the series so far are Lubov and, funnily enough, Biz. I hope we see Biz again, he was hilarious!
Perseo, not as far as I know. Episodes 11 and 12 are, in a way, a two partner. There's no breaks in the timeline, anyway. 13's pretty standalone.
I remember reading in a Joss interview, actually several Joss interviews, that episodes 7 and 8 were a two-parter and that they were intended to be sweeps episodes. I'm quite sure about that. Also, on the sweeps thing front, because from what I read from the sides pages, they're both HUGELY revelatory episodes in terms of mythology.
The guy in the suit just seems to scream "Have sex with me!"

I'm pretty sure he's one of the actives.
Mort, I'm with you, especially since he (a) seems to have a past friendship with Adelle and (b) has that kinda sleazy Ethan Rayne persona that is always fun to use as a foil for Whedon characters and (c) is played by an actor Whedon has used before, so obviously likes and feels works well in his sort of stories.
It's Victor imprinted with his yuppie persona.
The info about ep and 7 and 8 as a two-parter is very old, I think it was said back at the upfronts. Long before the scrapping of the pilot and the retooling last fall. The season looked very different back then. For instance, I remember this 7/8-twoparter being announced as a Tim Minear-thing (written & directed by). Since then, it has been pushed back to 11 and 12. And 11 is now written by Jane Espenson and directed by Dwight Little.

Bottom line: A lot has changed since last May. :)
Thanks, wiesengrund. I didn't know that. I thought just the first half of the season had been retooled.
I've read Janes episode may also have Jed and Maurissa on the writing credits, and the final is story by Joss and teleplay by Jed and Maurissa. I've not checked any of it yet to see if it's true, so if somebody fancies a challenge.
Oooh. Any info on the director, gossi? I like that JMo are more involved that what is "credited".
Why do you hope it's Lubov in the suit?

Because A) more Lubov always good and B) Lubov making offbeat comments about how nice his suit is, even better.

If by "Janes episode" you mean 1x11 "Briar Rose", then no, that I haven't heard of. But I heard of 1x09 "Haunted" being written by Jane, Maurissa and Jed.

And as for the finale: There is simply no way to know. The most credible source for that kind of information is... Dollverse, I guess. :)
