(SPOILER) Promo for Dollhouse 1x06 "Man on the Street". Check out a promo for next week's game-changing episode written by Joss in HQ on Youtube and discuss it. Spoiler-heavy because there is some intense stuff you wouldn't want to see if you're avoiding spoilers.

"Man on the Street" was directed by David Straiton.
Whedon said that this episode marks the point where Dollhouse shifts from stand-alone episodes to a more serialized format of storytelling.

I am probably alone in this, but that whole *forget everything you know* angle they're promoting with this ep. seems like FOX saying....hey fans! forget that we toyed with all previous eps. Heh.

Ah yeah now I hear it. Such a strange thing to say though, especially with the action going on in the background.

I like that they promote the 'give it a new chance' thing. But it's up against the series finale of BSG right? That can't be good..

My take is that we're supposed to believe it's a code phrase that is dictating what action (or inaction) ought to be taken to someone.

I don't really trust promotional material though, I'll happily wait for the episode before I even try to figure out what's going on.

I took it to mean that there's something wrong with Echo..flowers aren't by their nature green. Dolls shouldn't be remembering, but Echo is....

I don't think that's a very good clip to use for promoting the show... it's just Echo and Paul fighting. To somebody who hasn't already seen the show, it's just two people they don't care about fighting each other in an alley... they could get that on plenty of other shows. I dunno, just feels like they should've showcased something unique to Dollhouse.
