(SPOILER) Press release for Dollhouse 1x08 "Needs". Judging by the spoilerish synopsis, I think this episode is going to rock! Good choice to include it on the screeners. Things are definitely starting to kick into higher gear in the near future.

I'll say what I've said here before - when things say 'spoilers' on here, there's gonna be actual spoilers nowadays. I know there was a period of many years where 'spoilers' meant very little as there was no TV show, but it's reaching the point with Dollhouse where Stuff Happens.

The problem is spoiler tags are used too liberally. There's no way to tell when something is an actual spoiler or just a mini-hint. We need coloured grading systems or something.

Well usually if there are major spoilers, the poster will say so, along with the spoiler tag. That wasn't the case here, so I think that most people didn't think it would be that insane a spoiler.

I've added a caveat to the entry but really it's just a synposis. They're not going to give the entire plot away. So really not that big of a deal.

Indeed, this one isn't really that big a deal (who says they succeed?) - I was just forewarning people there's some big stuff coming up and some of will end up getting out as it always does. And it'll spoil the show.

It's not really a huge spoiler, it's just surprising that something like that is happening so soon.

From here on however, I'm not reading any more press releases. I think I'd prefer to be to be entirely surprised by the last 5 episodes.

Sorry. I was so excited by the synopsis that I didn’t even thought of a giving an extra warning about the huge spoilers.

But then again, as Simon and gossi said, maybe they aren’t that huge anyway. I mean, this is an official FOX press release, so one would assume that they wouldn’t include in it information that would be too pivotal. After all, the aim is to intrigue the viewer, not to ruin his viewing experience.

Plus if one doesn’t want to be spoiled than they probably shouldn’t read press releases at all.

This one's written by Tracy Bellomo, I think. That's the first script of a new-to-the-Whedonverse writer on Dollhouse. I'm very looking forward to it.
