Glau Dancing in the Streets. Summer Glau's ballet will be featured in Tyler Shields' new book "The Dirty Side of Glamour". Photos can be seen here as well as a video.

Thanks to theonetruebix & farfly for the head's up.

Aw, come on guys! Let's watch the vid & drool over the pictures and come back here and get all excited about Summer doing ballet.

I mean, I had to break my quota of "one post per year" to give ya this. ;)
I'll be in my bunk.
For more SG Ballet Goodness... here's the rehearsal for the TSCC episode "The Demon Hand" that Summer did ballet in. Very cool.

Who else wants Serving Girl now?
I really hope she lands a good job after Terminator. She more than deserves it. So talented, so graceful.

*waves and jumps up and down*

me! me! me!
There is even more Summer dancing here! -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M27QBJSjTk8
Someone on one of her fansites found this video of her doing a "Spanish Adagio with Jordi Caballero". Don't know how old it is but it's seriously impressive.
The Spanish Adagio was just beautiful perfection. Not one misstep. Do we know when Serving Girl will be released? Because I'm getting in line now.
madmolly, I'm not sure Serving Girl is even in talks to be made, but I'm with you; I'll be in line the second if/when it comes out.
Well, I could have watched a lot more of that. And thanks so much for that Spanish Adagio link. Summer is simply breathtaking.
korkster, I do believe you are my hero. A thousand thank yous.

And I am unsure what Serving Girl is besides it has Summer, ballet and Joss. Which is sure as hell good enough for me!
What Jayne's Hat said.
The video changed my whole day.
Okay, is it just me that watched the video Korkster posted of the Demon Hand rehearsal and though Summer did Numfar's Dance of Joy at 38 seconds?
And I am unsure what Serving Girl is besides it has Summer, ballet and Joss.

No one does, as far as I know. The only other thing(s) we know, at least from when Joss first announced the project in 2007, was that he was writing the music and was talking to a choreographer.
To me, the name The Serving Girl conjures up something that echoes Giselle (though I only know a smattering about the ballet from Waiting in the Wings and a couple of Rayne oriented flanfics where it's River's favourite ballet), in that Summer's presumed character will be an indentured worker for a wealthy family who becomes the centre of some major event where she's thrust into a role or situation she never imagined herself in.

Of course, since it's Joss, it's not too hard to believe it will be full of female empowerment and an exploration of some aspect of human nature ;D
Oh wow. Thanks for those links. Now Im doomed to walk around with a huge smile all day. Watching Summer dance is captivating.
I'm usually not one for ballet but that was breathtaking. Zz9 I tottally agree for a moment it is very Numfar-esque.

I'm pretty sure he said at some point, maybe towards the end of the strike, that he and the choreographer had begun work on the project. I dunno how Dollhouse affected that, though.
