Glau Dancing in the Streets. Summer Glau's ballet will be featured in Tyler Shields' new book "The Dirty Side of Glamour". Photos can be seen here as well as a video.

Someone on one of her fansites found this video of her doing a "Spanish Adagio with Jordi Caballero". Don't know how old it is but it's seriously impressive.

Okay, is it just me that watched the video Korkster posted of the Demon Hand rehearsal and though Summer did Numfar's Dance of Joy at 38 seconds?

No one does, as far as I know. The only other thing(s) we know, at least from when Joss first announced the project in 2007, was that he was writing the music and was talking to a choreographer.

To me, the name The Serving Girl conjures up something that echoes Giselle (though I only know a smattering about the ballet from Waiting in the Wings and a couple of Rayne oriented flanfics where it's River's favourite ballet), in that Summer's presumed character will be an indentured worker for a wealthy family who becomes the centre of some major event where she's thrust into a role or situation she never imagined herself in.

Of course, since it's Joss, it's not too hard to believe it will be full of female empowerment and an exploration of some aspect of human nature ;D

I'm pretty sure he said at some point, maybe towards the end of the strike, that he and the choreographer had begun work on the project. I dunno how Dollhouse affected that, though.
