Buffy and Firefly DVD's delayed .

Just a quick blurb on The Digital Bits about Fox delaying the release of Buffy S5 and Firefly. No details pertaining to the delay.

You need a link darling - I think this is the mention you're referring to. (moderators?) Thanks for the heads-up though!
Would be nice to see where TDB is getting their info. It hasn't hit the newsfeeds yet. Fireflyfans.net knows about as much as we do. Sounds like rumor to me. Why would Fox delay Firefly's DVD? What, they're not done killing the poor bird? Leave the phoenix alone Fox, if'n ya know whut's good fer ya. We'll break yer kneecaps. *smirk*
Well, that is crappy news especially on the Firefly front, I am anxious to see the episodes again in all their widescreen glory. Hope the DVD hits stores in the next few months, or at the very least before the movie comes out.
All fixed, you need to put http:// before the URl to get the link to work uberchunk. Ta very much for the news btw.
Sounds like production difficulties - problems with the factory, problems printing packaging, problems finding warehouse space, something like that. Maybe they're delaying due to greater-than-expected demand? Both sets release the same day and all the interviews and extras are ready; sounds like a glitch, not a clever marketing ploy.
FOX IZZA GLITCH
(grrr argh)
Amazon are still saying this about both titles: The studio is currently not producing this title on DVD, but to be notified when it is available, enter your e-mail address at right. You'll also be voting for this release; we'll let the studio know how many customers are waiting for this title
mcbash, Amazon sold out of their pre-order limit. That's why the site reads as it does. You can still order at Best Buy or CD Universe as far as I know.
