Those eyes make her look a bit like "Seeing Red" Willow.

And I vote against the mole. She doesnt have one in real life or on the show (at least with clothes on), why is this up for debate? As long as we're at it, why not vote whether or not to put an arm coming out of her forehead or blackening one of her front teeth? Am I missing something?

Now if they were debating on making her "battle scarred" Faith, with appropriate toony hatch-marks on her cheek and forehead, then I'm in!

alexreager: from the tiki question post: "I wanted it on because Eliza has one and thought it was a nice nod to the actress." So, apparently, she does have one in real life (and it's on her face, so clothing would have nothing to do with it).

And whilst I don't get the (even stylized) resemblence to Faith/Eliza, I totally think "its crap lol" is *exactly* the sort of deep & intelligent discussion for which I browse Whedonesque, and b!x should totally lay off. ;)

(And gingyfromshrek I'm not at all implying you're stupid or anything - that was just awfully close to "this is the suxxorz" which absolutely drives me batty.)

A mole is not a wart, I thought I should clarify that. I think if the actress has one, then the statue should have one. Or not, if they choose. But Eliza does happen to have a mole on the side of her face, actually a couple if not a few that are on her upper lip, too. They make this make-up stuff called concealer that actors wear that tends to minimize them. I thought Whedonites were supposed to be thoughtful and intelligent?

I didn't realize Eliza has a mole. If that's true, that sure, go ahead. Although I don't think it makes much sense considering they apparently covered it up with make-up for Faith... so maybe Faith doesn't have one, heh.

Me too. Everyone has the right to have a opinion, or to be ignorant of moles, but people, this isn't nice to read.(Not talking about all comments of course).

Seriously? Whether or not a Faith figure has a mole that Eliza herself does have, is actually a topic that not only merits discussion, but a poll as well?

Why don't we talk about something important, like why the Buffy figures don't have the angry puppy/bit-by-an-Angel scar despite it being visible on the show every time it's a topic of discussion?

I get why some people might find this issue to be lighter fare as a discussion topic, but it's about artistic depiction nonetheless and it's a decision actually being left up to the fans by FOX. If you're not going to be interested in these products, fine, but is it really necessary to be derogatory? For all the fans who do care about Buffyverse figurines and this process, who care about this artistic rendering, maybe you can show a little respect.

I'm going to go vote that they keep the mole. I think it's the little details (not imperfections) of a person that make them interesting and unique.

One of the funniest things about being introduced to the Buffyverse by going through the Buffy and Angel box sets in a couple of months is watching a mole grow (what seems like) really quickly out of Charisma Carpenter's right cheek.

I think we should establish some kind of think-tank and give them a few years to examine the issue from all sides, assess risks related to including or not including the mole, having a stylized figure that does or doesn't evoke the character, and related questions of comparable importance.

This isn't the kind of question that should be left to something as random and slapdash as an Internet poll. The President should appoint a Mole Czar.
