Pretty sure that Tara's last name was "Maclay" since that was on her tombstone in S7. And yeah, "Mears" was Warren's last name.

Well, I can't help but be disappointed that she's even interested in seeing it. I refuse to support anything that rapes Joss's vision ever again.

In fact, I'm refusing to even talk about or read about it anymore, either.

Well she doesn't actually say she does want to see the movie, just that she considers that there is the slightest possibility it won't suck. It seems like a pretty diplomatic response even if it doesn't outright spell out the writing as key and say something like "Joss Whedon's writing/vision was the only thing that made the series watchable despite the best efforts of us actors to ruin it!"

Incidentally, this is the first time I've actually read more information about her book. I initially thought it was just a spin-off of that Ghosts of Albion thing, but it does sound like a kinda neat concept.

Seriously. I bought it when I was in Madison in April, and just devoured it. I didn't want to put it down. It was interesting, funny (I'll never look at Bollywood dancers the same way), well researched and not predictable.

I can't wait for the next two books!

Sometimes screw-ups like that are hilarious; I for one love the irony of Amber's dating Adam and have referred to them soemtimes as Tarren.

And I highly recommend her book myself.
