"I auditioned for Buffy at least a thousand times". Miracle Laurie talks about trying out for Joss' shows and whether she'll be back on Dollhouse next season.

More Miracle Laurie in Season 2 is a very good thing.
Would I be a whiner to suggest a spoiler tag for those UK fans who haven't acquired it illegally and are following Dollhouse weekly on Sci-fi? There's a bit in the article that might reveal too much.
I could see her as Tara or as Kaylee. :)
Hmm. It would be cool if she were still programmed and it was just another long-term imprint. I am hoping the concept of ex-Doll with a vengeance is reserved for a Whedon alum like Fillion, or especially Glau. It would work well for Summer to play a character 1) with a lot of emotional baggage and 2) one who can metatextually revolt against the role of Hollywood zombie she's been playing on a loop since Firefly.
Glau as an ex-doll with vengeance is a brilliant idea. Though I am partial to Fillion being a villain again, because he's so good at it.
And look! They're roasting krad :)

I wasn't sure that she was coming back, so I was happy to find that out!!
Isn't Alpha the ex-Doll with a vengeance? I'm pretty content to have Alan Tudyk remain in that role for awhile, he's brilliant.

As for Fillion, I think he's a little busy being the star of his own show. :)

I want to see Summer Glau in a completely non-action role. It would be cool to have her be the new "favorite doll" who is always chipper, peppy, ready for anything. I mean, come on, our dolls are a sour bunch.
jamesthegill,
There might be a bit too revealing in that article if it were correct.
From the article: Laurie's character, Mellie, had been released from life in the dollhouse, with the promise of leading a normal life with her FBI-agent boyfriend, Paul Ballard.
Er... *shrugs*

Liam Mars: It would be cool if she were still programmed and it was just another long-term imprint.
That was my suspicion during her last scene in "Omega". They couldn't really let her go that easily, could they?

Anyhoo, glad to have her back (in whatever form she appears).
Wow, I totally didn't realize she was going to be in Baltimore this weekend. Or that Shore Leave was this weekend. I wonder if I can make it up there for Sunday. (Doesn't look likely though :-( )

I can see where you are coming from but the spoiler tag will only be used for Epitaph One and season 2 of Dollhouse. Otherwise it gets confusing.

I will advise to those who have not yet seen all of Dollhouse season one that new interviews with the cast will more than likely refer to what happened in the first season.
Wow. Did the author even see the episode? Real November didn't even recognize Paul, they were not going to live a normal life together. Grrr.

Other than the author's ignorance, awesome interview. I'm glad that Miracle is coming back in some way.
I can certainly see her in the Kaylee role, and possibly the Tara one as well. She could have been an interesting and alternative Fred as well?
Augh. Kaylee is Jewel and Tara is Amber. Not agreeing with the alternative suggestions.
>sigh< She can offer me her leftover lasagne anytime.
Every frame she was in popped, her performance, and her character's arc did a lot to mature the show. Her career has just begun. Amazing talent.
