Amazon's Blu-ray Blowout includes Serenity. It's only $16.99 + shipping. Any who haven't got it yet should take the jump (not to mention the boatload of other cheap Blu-rays in this sale, such as the crazy-cheap 2001 for 10.99).

Unless you haven't bought a Blu-ray player. In which case, buy one.

Not a bad deal for Serenity but buyer beware because Amazon actually RAISED some of the prices for those Blu-rays -- True Blood was nearly $10 cheaper as of yesterday. o_O
Ceo, but it wasn't $44 before, was it?

I believe Amazon is having this sale to head off this weekend's DeepDiscount.com's 25% off (with code) sale.
I am already set in terms of Whedon and Blu-Ray. Have Firefly and Serenity. Now I just need Dollhouse, then Dr. Horrible hopefully. Maybe one day: Remastered Buffy and Angel!

Imagine if all the Buffy and Angel episodes were remastered in the highest resolutions their original negatives allowed (probably 1080p for 16mm and 2160p for 35mm), and all the special effects were totally re-done and re-rendered in the same resolutions. Great dream, but what would that cost for all 12 seasons? A billion dollars?
I'm pretty sure Serenity has been 43% off for a couple of months now, to a point that I think that is now just its normal price.

When I bought Firefly for 56% off on June 10 Serenity was the same price it is now, however Serenity was dropped to 50% of a week later. So 43% off for Serenity is not so special.
