V-The Series Audio Interview with Morena. Morena spoke to Ed Gross about all things V while at Comic Con.

I and several other Whedonesquers attended the screening and panel and quite enjoyed it. V also features one Alan Tudyk and, behind the scenes, Mr. Jeffrey Bell!

I must admit, I'm one of the people who was horrified to hear they were re-doing V. But now it's kinda sounding like it might be good.

Morena and Alan both brought their A game. Was worried myself and now I will definitely be checking it out.

I, on the other hand, was a little under-impressed with the pilot - some great-looking scenes and acting, but the dialogue was weak, weak, weak, IMHO.

After another decade of Star Trek/Alien Nation/V/etc. remakes, the higher ups might decide we're ready to hear about conditions favorable for the existence of extremeophiles on Mars.

Only one Alan Tudyk ? Boo, hiss. Why did that secret government laboratory even bother perfecting human cloning if we're not going to use it ? ... umm, that wasn't supposed to be a secret was it ?

So i'm assuming this interview's entirely spoiler free (cos there's no tag) ? Cos i'm gonna listen to it and i'd hate to have to go all Jay and Silent Bob on someone's ass ;).

(loved the original mini-series, thought the series wasn't great and am sceptical about the legs of this update but will be checking it out to see if/how they manage it)

Oh, I'll admit to that, but I'm willing to cut them some slack - I also felt like they moved too fast to cram so many things into the pilot. I enjoyed it enough to give it a chance, however.

I viewed the pilot like I did Castle- a little weak, but it shows promise. Wasn't let down with Castle. Hoping the results are the same with V.
