5:30 PM PT: Thought I'd try something different and post ongoing updates from the nearby Apple Store whenever possible. Made it into the VIP area which is inside a restaurant whose second story balcony overlooks the courtyard. So far have only seen Joey Lawrence as far as celebs go. Word through the grapevine is that DB is showing up. We'll see. :)

6:15 PM: Glanced at the guest list. David Boreanaz, James Marsters, J. August Richards, Amy Acker, Andy Hallett, Mercedes McNab, and Sarah Thompson (Eve) are all scheduled to show up. So the only one who isn't on the list is Alexis Denisof. More celebs have shown up from other WB shows whom I didn't recognize.

8:35 PM PT: David Boreanaz, James Marsters, Amy Acker, Andy Hallett, and Mercedes McNab were all here. David, Amy, and Mercedes appear to have already left but James and Andy are still around. Been trying to find the right time to approach them and say hi but I've made it a point not to interrupt them when they're in conversations with their reps and friends, and when they're busy eating. John Schneider from Smallville is here and he's a *lot* taller than I expected. He's watching the season premiere on a TV with a group of people. No sign of Joss Whedon though, and he wasn't listed on the guest list. Who knows though, the night is young.

12:25 AM PT: Was going to post again from the Apple Store, but didn't realize that the store closes at 9:00 PM until it was too late. David (with his baby) and Amy (who opted to go home and watch the premiere) did leave the party, while Mercedes and Sarah Thompson stood in front of a TV near the bar upstairs to watch it. James left before the premiere started, J. August was the last to arrive, and Andy was the last to leave the party (I had to leave so he was there at least until 11:45 PM or even longer). A real surprise was seeing Michelle Trachtenberg(!), who was there with her boyfriend (I did a double-take when I saw her, because no one was standing around her except her boyfriend, but my friends verified that it was her). All of the cast who showed up were nice enough to sign autographs and pose for photos with the fans who were flanking the red carpet, some of whom were rushed through like David and James while others took their time like J. August, Amy, Andy, and Mercedes. Joss didn't show up. All in all, I had an absolute blast. I wish I had taken more photos, and this would've been the perfect opportunity to start a moblog, but oh well, I hope I can attend another party like this soon. I could get used to hobnobbing with celebrities more often! :)

For anyone wondering where Alexis may have been, yesterday was the first day of filming on a Wes-centric episode. He was probably still at work while his castmates got a chance to relax.

No problem, I had a blast. Hopefully the next time I get invited to an event like this (knock on wood) I'll be able to post remotely without having to find a nearby Apple Store. :)
