James Marsters to guest on 'Lie To Me'. His official website has the scoop. And there's also details about James performing in "She Stoops To Conquer" as part of the L.A. Theatre Works 2009-2010 season of play readings.

Excellent news!!!
Oh bloody hell..
Now I need to start watching one more show..;-)P

I'm still waiting to read that "he's been casted in an upcoming episode of the Fox television series" Bones, though...!
(Where, to clarify, of course he hasn't..But hope never dies..)
Yay Jimmy boy!! *g*
How cool is that? I like 'Lie To Me' and I adore James - can't wait!

Now, PLEASE, will some TV PTB cast this talented guy in a quality show of his own?!?!
I've ignored Lie To Me so far since unless there is something extremely appealing about it (serialized elements, a la Fringe) I end up loving the show for a few weeks then get tired of the procedural tropes. Hopefully I remember to record this, though. I need some James!
Brilliant news. Although I would dearly love to see him with his own series, I am astonished at the breadth of roles post-Whedon (from serial killer to best-friend romantic to upper-class English twit) that really help to showcase his genuine talent . Even considering Spike alone, in all his glorious manifestations, Mr. Marsters is clearly an actor of many notes.

There's been talk of a possible crossover with Lie To Me and Bones ... maybe it'll be James's episode. :)
Yay!! I recently finished watching the show and all the way through I imagined James rocking a role against Tim Roth :D

Now I cannot wait even more for new episodes to come out!
This makes me laugh (in a good way) because I remember James saying that he was once given the instruction on BTVS to give his performance in a particular scene "a little more Tim Roth and a little less Laurence Olivier". I bet he will have a great time working with Tim Roth. They both have such expressive faces...hope the camera focuses on their eyes a lot in this episode.

_once again, AMEN, sis.
I've been trying to get round to watching Lie to Me for ages. Looks like I'm starting with this episode!

It's unbelievable James hasn't got a show of his own yet!
And come on Hart, let's see James on 'Bones'! Can someone PLEASE suggest that to HH on Twitter?
What a combo! James and Tim Roth ! YAAAY !!!! Can't wait!
Now I have to start watching Lie to Me! Yay. And double Yay for the play news. I really enjoyed The Importance of Being Earnest to an astonishing degree. Such fun.
I have been saying for years that James needs to get back with David, they play off each other so well. BONES needs James, heck I need James in his own show and I thought Spike and Illyria would have been great fighting crime. I love Lie to Me and hopefully his part will be longer than it was on NUMB3RS, that was not worth the effort.
I have never seen Lie to Me, but now I will. I, too, hope he is on the screen more than he was in Numb3rs, but especially more than he was on Saving Grace...I never forgave that show. Anyway, more James is always a good thing!
