Book Addict interviews Amber Benson. "Death's Daughter is the first book in a trilogy... It's about a girl named Calliope Reaper-Jones whose father just happens to be the Grim Reaper."

It appears to be available from online vendors!
Her heroine's last name is so deliberately on-the-nose it makes me laugh :)

I also like that Amber seems to be getting quite a bit of notice for this book. An AP article, about the rise of urban fantasy novels by women authors, which my local paper carried last month featured Amber in its accompanying photo, as well as discussing Death's Daughter in the text. Here's hoping for great success for her!
