Inspired by: Buffy Summers. You too can dress like the Slayer for under $100.

The gulf between my level of regard for clothing and that level implicit in the widespread consumption of (relatively) expensive outfits is pretty wide. Since I generally only get clothes when they're on a (really good) sale, it's rare for my outfits to run more than $20.00, total.

Then again, as I'm a fairly broad-shouldered fellow, the Buffy look likely wouldn't look good on me, so it may be just as well.
Yeah, i'd want to dress like 3 Slayers for that money ;).
My Slayer-wear would be practical, leaning more towards t-shirts, combat boots, and cargo pants (you could hide a whole arsenal in those pockets). Since that's pretty much my wardrobe anyway...
Sensible shoes?! Did we ever see Buffy in sensible shoes? I thought one of the slayer powers was the ability to run in stiletto heels.
What, no stylish-yet-affordable boots?

It's even better than that in fact - she can change her shoes to flat soles mid-fight/run/aerobatics ;).

Stylish-yet-affordable and retractable stiletto heels?
They're the future of footwear. Don't listen to the pundits, clogs are going nowhere.
Now I get it - the perfect weapon for kick-staking vampires.
I'm not going to wear a necklace I paid $11. I'm just not.
I think it's a wonderful idea if you want to do a Buffy "costume" for halloween. Just dress up buffy style and carry a stake. me likes.
I don't think Buffy ever wore anything remotely like that outfit. And it's not exactly stylish yet affordable, is it?

Feeble attempt to sell overpriced stuff by exploiting the image of a cult icon.
Actually, it's all pretty affordable. $11 shoes? If not for a lot of people, then at least for Buffy. You know she blew more than $100 on an outfit (although where she got that money is a TV mystery).
