"Trucker" gets picked up. Starring our very own Captain - Nathan Fillion.

It's scheduled for an October 9, 2009 release date.

This was announced back in April on the Trucker website, and a couple of weeks ago the release date was changed from September to October. It's also getting a limited UK & Canadian release.

For a second there I thought Tucker finally got his own spin-off. But I just mis-read the headline. Carry on.

I saw this a couple months ago in a special screening thanks to the awesome Beth (from Australia). It really is a fun movie (and one scene with Nathan is so funny, you MUST watch).

You should def go out and watch it.
