(SPOILER) Dollhouse Season 2 promo on Fox. It's a low-quality video'd-the-TV-screen version of the ad that aired yesterday.

Thanks OneTeV for spotting it and b!X for letting us enjoy it too.

About time!!! Thanks for letting us see it!
It's a good thing I like Spider-Man 2, which is the movie I had to watch all night, waiting to see which ad break it was.
Yay! About bloody time we got a promo. Now if only we can get a better quality one and I'll be even more happy.
Hooray! I don't have to moan at anybody now.

Anybody excited yet? Paul has something TO DO!
I just now realized that maybe Fox' strategy is not to bring people to watch the show. Maybe they realized they get a far better brand-recognition from people watching specifically the ad breaks for Dollhouse promos... ;)
Did it say "he's back with a vengeance" or "its..."? And if so whose the 'he'? Are they hinting at Alpha, Paul or Joss?
Oh good, this puts paid to the rumours that Fox's pr budget for Dollhouse is three bucks and whatever has fallen down the back of Kevin Reilly's sofa.
OMG, looks very exciting. Can't wait to see it with a better quality. OR THE EPISODE FOR THAT MATTER.
But that voice...it has such a strange old-time tv ad sound. It sounds like one of the older variety ads on Mad Men. What's with that?
Simon: Oh good, this puts paid to the rumours that Fox's pr budget for Dollhouse is three bucks and whatever has fallen down the back of Kevin Reilly's sofa.

So to beef up the ad budget, they sold Reilly's couch after they combed it for loose change? ;-)

All thanks to wiesengrund and b!x. I wasn't watching the movie (have it on DVD), so it was pure chance that I caught the last half of the ad while exercising my ADD with the TV remote. Now I can watch the entire commercial!

I don't think people will come with this kind of ads... Hope they improve. Still, it could be better in HD.

I know it's a bit off topic but can someone help me find the font of the Dollhouse logo?
I dunno, I think this is the right direction to take. Focus on the personalities and human interaction, rather than the "cool idea" technology (which is what they did last year). Not saying they should completely ignore mind wiping/implanting, but it should be the backdrop to the character dynamic. (They do mention "television's ultimate mind game".)
I'm curious in which ad break did it play on. As in, in between which parts of the movie.

It's a nice ad, hope Fox play it more, or that FoxBroadcasting makes it available oficially through their Youtube channel or something of the sorts.
It was somewhere around the scene when Doc Ock grabbed MJ at the diner, plus or minus 15 minutes. So about halfway through the flick. Sorry I wasn't paying more attention, I wasn't expecting Dollhouse goodness while flipping through the channels.
Ashley - "On September 25th, television's ultimate mind game is back with a vengeance." I believe they are referring to the show itself. Though Joss could be thought of as television's ultimate mind game. |-)~
I'm used to this kind of advertising now, so, I guess, it was kinda cool. It's getting the name out there, if nothing else.
What is "this kind of advertising"?
Woo! Just finished re-watching the season for the first time since it aired. I am so excited for it to start back up again.
Oh dear, Jamie Bamber yelling? I could never take that seriously in BSG...

Kidding. Maybe.

Looks good though. I'm quite looking forward to seeing Ballard adjust to life on the inside.
I understood it with the Season 1 ads, for the sexy, but I kinda wish they hadn't brought it back for Season 2's commercials--a giant Echo laying across the city with traffic going through her. I already thought that the misconception that Actives were robots might've been a conclusion some viewers might've easily made if they just tuned in during certain eps. That part of the ad looks like she has circuitry. Nothing against hot giants.

The symbolism works, of course (she's everyone/anyone, or she can be), but still. Find a new end-of-ad seal-the-deal shot.

Nice that Fox is advertising it, thought the commercial was pretty good otherwise.

I feel so stupid that I never thought of that. Only got that now, after reading you explaining it. >.<

It's a cool ad. And Jamie Bamber as a bad guy... sexy.
I'm excited to see Jaime Bamber as a bad guy too! He was just so annoying as the self-righteous wannabe-hero. (too many hyphens in there, sorry)
Also, yay for Echo remembering! I wonder if she will remember everything as Echo or as Caroline...
