I kept this version since the title is less spoilery. Edited the tags though for the same reason. We don't know enough about the context of Alpha's return to know what kinda spoiler level this will be so it seemed best to play it safe for the time being.

Yay more Alan in Season 2! 3-4 episodes would be pretty sweet.

Oh wow, I had no idea they were together either. That's so weird. I can't help but thinking of it as Tyra dating Wash, which is A) a little creepy and B) not a great match-up.

Nice to hear I can look forward to more of both of them, though I'm getting slightly weary of FNL's refusal to send off characters. Saracen you gotta keep, obviously--though I hate how they did it--and same with Coach and his family (though Julie could go, I don't think that'd be awful). But keeping everyone else around... it just makes a very realistic show start to lose credibility for me. Especially now that Riggins was a 10th grader in season one, and Julie was in 9th grade.

ETA that on the other hand, I do understand a writer/showrunners reluctance to get rid of characters and coworkers that they've come to love. That's a tricky situation.

Wasn't sure how spoilery any of that was... it all happened over 8 months ago, but just to be safe for those who've never watched. And I've probably ranted about this before, so sorry aboot that.

tyra and landry's relationship was about all that got me through season three of FNL. both actors are incredibly talented. and i love matt saracen, and the actor's great, but i was literally shouting at my television with the decision that he made about not going to chicago. on top of that, i was furious, to the point where i don't think she'll ever be redeemed, in my eyes, at the way his grandmother acted and was so unbelievably selfish in her demands and not wanting him to go to college.

ok, that said, great news about returning folks. i'm always reticent to read MA's info, since spoilers abound, but this was nice to know :)
