Gellar explains her scar. "People ask if I've had a nose job. ... But if I had, why would I leave a scar?"

This must be "that thing" Cordelia was referring to in "Killed By Death".
Well, Sarah also has a mole on her chin that's visible in close-ups; I've never noticed this nose scar thing before, so I always thought Cordelia was talking about the mole - which is less visible than Charisma's own dark brown birthmark on her cheek....
Okay, apparently I'm not a big enough fan - what "thing" in "Killed by Death"? I don't recall the scene or the reference - can you enlighten?
Cordelia makes a nasty comment to Buffy about "that thing on your face." Which might refer to a literal thing - mole, scar, birthmark, whatever - or might just be typical Cordelia snark.
