Alyson Hannigan wins the People's Choice award. For her role as Lily Aldrin on How I Met Your Mother, for Best TV Comedy Actress.

Totally deserving. Go Aly!
Well. I'm spoiled by a topic headline. It isn't 9pm in California yet and the show hasn't started for us.
Terrific stuff! Her performance on HIMYM is so underrated, so its nice to see her getting recognition every now and then.
"Bout time, and should have been, and let me be the first but not the last to say it, for Willow to begin with. But good on her- go, Aly!
Did you hear NPH on Jimmy Kimmel last night talking about how only the winners are invited to the People's Choice Awards? That is why he wasn't invited and Aly was. Of course that makes 'acting surprised' when you win a tiny bit lame... (not Aly, I mean Sandra Bullock). Anyway I'm sorry you were spoiled Tonya J.
embers, did you see the Glee winning? With that pizza company being Glee's sponsor (apparently), it became so painfully obvious that they knew beforehand. And on top of that, the awards themselves are engraved with the results.

Fantastic Kimmel interview, though. If he threw some magic in there, it would have been his finest ever.
Celebs are notified ahead of time that they won a PCA. That's why I think the PCA's are the most "fixed" and boring of all the award shows.

Anyway, I only watched it to see Alexis in the audience. Wish he would do more so he can get some awards too.
Aside from Aly winning, am I the only one who thinks this might be the stupidest awards show ever? Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great idea for fans to be able to vote for their favorites but the entire show was pathetic.
Agreed. You only need to watch the show for ten minutes to know who all the winners are, they are the only people in the audience!

Still, GO Aly!
Alyson was adorable, so was Alexis and I was really happy she won. But that's all I needed to see. Everyone knowing who won in advance is a weird way to present an awards show!

Not nearly as exciting as the #biggaybattle!
