The Whedon lunch gets Full Frontal Nerdity treatment. Remember how we all got off on Joss having lunch? The story made it to the comics, but looks like fandom is the real story.

Hey, I have you know that Nerdity is a badge of honor. Mine's sitting pretty well (isn't it? Maybe a little crooked to the right, but that could be me.).
I mainly like that the one complaining about the attention is the one who wrongly describes it as going back to FOX. So, both characters are clueless. I'm not sure that was the intent.
Well, FX is owned by Fox, no? I figured that was an intentional inflation of the concept to mentio Fox vs FX rather than the character being mistaken.
He's mistaken the same way everyone else making that statement is mistaken. People are spazzing because they think working for FX means subjecting yourself to the same people who cancelled Firefly or Dollhouse, which is wrong.
After looking up "gimp" I now know that it means other things than I thought it did.

I was like, "Why would they hire someone with a limp for this?"
Woo hoo! "The Captain Mal & Buffy Show"! I'm so there! ('course, knowing the Slayer, she'd want top billing.)

And...Samurai Ewok! I need to find a way to use this! Hey, maybe someone can make a T-shirt??

ShanshuBugaboo "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it does."
Princess Bride, FTW :)
I'm bad. Sorry, I couldn't resist.

The Guidelines state "Do not link to your own work, please."

Perhaps some fun for those with printers
that handle blacks well: here...

Now I find myself wanting an actual 'Nerdity' badge that I can stitch onto my coat. One can never have too much flair.
b1X, that's what I mean exactly, only I took it as an intentional joke. It may very well not be. And, fair enough, even if it is, anyone who doesn't already know that (and reads the comic strip) will now be mistaken.
I just want to say that "The Captain Mal and Buffy Show" sounds pretty good...
