Merlin season two will be aired in the US on SyFy starting April 2. Season 1 is getting an encore US run on SyFy in March, and the DVD of season 1 releases in the US on April 20.

I'm very pleased that all American Anthony Head fans will now get their chance to see him fall for a creepy gross troll later this spring. :-)
*snicker* That episode was so very, very awesome.
Yay, I haven't yet caught this show and I now have a DVR so will definitely get the chance now!!
Bloody damn time!

My only complaint is...why do those of us without cable always get neglected?

NBC ran the first season, but it tanked in the ratings so they didn't even consider the second season. (Odd, since the show has been picked up for a third. Could it have had anything to do with advertising? Naaah.)

Don't get me wrong - I'm glad it's back in the US. Just wish it'd be on a broadcast channel and not cable.

Hopefully I'll be working more than 3 hours a week by April & can afford the first season.

Now if the last two seasons of Manchild would just come out on DVD over here...
ShadowQuest, the first season was on hulu, so you could keep up with the second one there. (I don't have cable either--or a TV for that matter--so I watch everything online.)
YAAAY.

They had better put it up on Hulu!

You've got to admit though, that the actress playing the troll did it very well! (hopefully it won't be the highlight of her career though.)
I think Sarah Parish is safe from that ;)
@Ruadh: oh yes, the actress playing the troll was INCREDIBLE, I loved it!

(BTW did anyone who watches both MERLIN and DOLLHOUSE notice that the actor who played the troll's assistant is also on DOLLHOUSE this season? LOL)
Yes! Except that I first recognized him as the priest with a bee allergy from Nanny McPhee.
