Overnights for 'The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco'. Last night's episode held steady against "The O.C." with 4.1/6. David Greenwalt fans will be relieved to know that UPN has picked up Jake 2.0 for the rest of the season.

And here's the overnights for the season so far:

Conviction 4.4/7, Just Rewards 4.7/7, Unleashed 4.2/6, Hellbound 4.4/6, Life of the Party 4.1/6, The Cautionary Tale of Numero Cinco 4.1/6.

Best episode so far this season. It'll be sad to not see Numero Cinco wandering the halls of Wolfram and Hart anymore though. Hopefully in upcoming episodes Wes will be curious about Angel's distaste for prophesies in light of the past couple of years.
I agree that this was the best episode so far. And it seems to be getting back to some of the original themes of Angel. The exploration of redemption and what it means to be a hero has always been a draw for me.
i loved it!!
the theme of "disconnectedness" i believe was very well juxtaposed to the brothers' strong bond.
this also ties in to what doyle (RIP G.Q.) told angel about losing touch w/ the ppl who need him most, something along those line.
and that wes and angel exchange was a KILLER!
i mean the center will clearly not hold anymore, i can't wait to see where we go from here.
Great episode...Ratings were "flat" compared to last week, but this was a repeat week for the O.C. I'll be very happy if Angel returns to its 4.4 to 4.5 million viewers mark.
Actually, Simpleba, The O.C. was brand spanking new this week. Though they did reair it after Tru Calling on Thursday. [At least, this is my area. I realize that some local affiliates like to switch shows around for some reason, but as far as I know, ours follow the intended times.]
I, too, would like to see Angel remain around 4.4ish, although 4.1 doesn't seem too horrible. Especially against Fox's hit. As long as it stays above 4 million, I would think things are looking decent. But I'm still fairly oblivious to the true meaning behind the numbers.
