Enver Gjokaj Has a New Webseries: Previously on Point Dume.
Enver will be producing as well as starring as Bron the Landscapist in the production, which we can now confirm will be an exclusive for http://www.funnyordie.com/.
We've seen some of it and it's quirky and fun. We will update with the actual live link for public consumption when it becomes available, but wanted to get the word out there for the man who was one of our favorite reasons to tune in to Dollhouse every week.
"Something is hiding in the wealthy beach enclave of Point Dume. A
dark secret so so secretive it could take at least five seasons to
reveal. When big city-boy Lazlo Wood returns home for his father's
funeral, his nosy questions threaten to dig up more than just a
corpse. What exactly is his step-mother Ginabeth hiding in the
pantry? What exactly is Professor Pyle injecting local children with?
And when exactly will Bron the Landscapist ever wear a shirt? These
and other mysteries promise to almost never be explained in this new
recap show for the greatest nighttime soap opera never seen, Point
Dume."

Producing and starring in a web series isn't ambitious? Try telling that to Felicia Day. Or on second thought, watch Felicia Day's Streamy Awards acceptance speech. I say it's more ambitious to go out there and make your own production.

electricspacegirl, this was exactly my second thought, after "But why isn't he doing a blockbuster?" Haha, it is an interesting move, especially for our touted golden boy, and I'm so very psyched right now...
gossi- Haha, I may not be the lady you speak of, but what young lady isn't insanely pleased about this? We've gone, what, 6 or 7 Victorless weeks now... (Okay, perhaps I'm a little rabid for Enver.)

So when does this thing start?

Totally in, if just for that. This kinda sounds like something my friends and I wanted to make. Not plot-wise, but fake-soap opera wise.
I now have something to look forward to in my life, yay!

Yeah, ambitious was the wrong word I guess. How about: I wish he'd do something more high profile. Of course we all here will watch anything with Enver because we know he's good. I'm just sorry for the rest of the world. ;)

Guess what, that's what I just did before coming back here. Yeah, that looks good. Especially since he's playing a younger version of Robert De Niro's character. Now in most movies that means that it's a minor role. But a) He is at position 5 on that movie's list of actors (3 of which are big stars) and b) (More importanty) We know how incredibly good Enver is at mimicking someone else. This is perfect. Can't wait to see Gjokaj doing De Niro!
So this gives me a lot more happy than the Point Dume news (not that I'll miss that either). Sorry for being off topic! (Was there a post here on Stone before and I missed it?)

Enver is too talented not to be working.

No. There's a fan site (www.enver-gjokaj.com) and a facebook fan site, but no official site.

This sounds awesome.

When something takes too long to get a follow-up release (Everwood's another one that comes to mind), I sorta feel like I've lost the thread of it, the feel for it. It's like how, when I end up finally getting around to The Sarah Connor Chronicles (outside of the one ep I saw from early Season 2), I'll be re-watching the first two films just for the flow of it. I'll get back into Twin Peaks if someone else wants to watch with.
