Netflix comes through! We knew it was promised, but now it's here. Buffy, Angel, Firefly and Dollhouse are now available for instant viewing at Netflix.com

Serenity as well.
So is it free to Netflix users or is it like Amazon's Video On Demand?
Yes, it's free for Netflix users.
It's a great way to turn new fans onto the show, because we all know they will buy in the end like the rest of us. I've gotten quite a few people hooked on Doctor Who this way.
Netflix is becoming a Whedon haven! I already have a Netflix account, but if I didn't, this would get me on the bandwagon :)
I love Netflix and it's streaming content. It is definitely a great bargain. Love that they have added Buffy, Angel, Firefly & Dollhouse. Serenity's been on there for awhile now too!
Just noticed that Season 4-7 of Buffy are in widescreen!
I have Netflix but can't watch their streaming video... buffers too much. :(
Firefly episodes are in the wrong order... of course.
WONDERFUL! Until I can afford the ultimate Angel box set of the series, thank you thank you thank you Netflix!
Sure would be nice if a person up here (on the Northern side of the border) could get Netflix.

Mine used to on the computer too, but if you have a Bluray player or an Xbox360 you can get a disk from Netflix for free that lets you watch it on the TV.
Yay, yay, yay! I've been telling a castmate of mine since our show started that there are four very specific episodes of "Buffy" that she has to watch. The best of the best for various reasons: "Hush," "Restless," "The Body" and "Once More, with Feeling." Now that they're streaming, she'll have no excuse. This is a great day.
Thank you Netflix!! I love that the previouslys are included in Buffy, Firefly and Dollhouse, I wonder why not on Angel? I always wondered why they were not included on the DVD's. Thank you again for having the shows!!! Keep them on forever!!!!
Yay, Netflix!
This is fantastic news! Netflix has always ruled, now this! I am happy Willowy.

Just FYI, as of last week, Netflix added the Wii as well - it's fabulous!
The streaming works beautifully on my computer, and it's SO nice to watch ad-free content for the fifteen bucks a month I pay for the service (3 dvds). They also have Seasons 1 & 2 of Dexter and Leverage available for streaming, which got me hooked on those shows, and every time I look, I see more things I want to watch. On the computer. Where I'm supposed to be working. Wait a second--Netflix is evil.
Netflix streaming works really well for me, even on a modest DSL connection. Netflix also announced an iPad app for streaming. The idea of near-instant access to any of these episodes, any time, almost anywhere... well, for me, that's pretty compelling.
Woohoo...

As someone getting an iPad at the end of April... I'm stoked I can soon watch Whedonverse anywhere.
Dr. Horrible and Serenity are also among Whedon titles on Netflix!

I think that more or less means everything from the Buffy television series onward in Joss's career is now available to stream on the site. It's pretty amazing.

ETA: The sole exception apparently being the second season of Dollhouse, and I only assume that is the case since it's not even out on DVD yet.

This rocks! I tried it yesterday. I can now easily flip between an episode of Buffy and an episode of Firefly without touching a DVD!
I have a Sony blu-ray player with wireless internet access. We watched Dr. Horrible last Sunday, in HD if I remember correctly. My only complaint is that the streaming was interrupted several times for a few seconds, and once the connection was dropped completely. Since it was a Sunday night, maybe that's why? We also saw The Iron Giant that day, and had similar problems. Your mileage may vary.......
I'm curious about the "Previously On Buffy..." intros. These are not included on the Region One DVD sets. So where did they come from?

I'm not sure what you mean, WithoutCaution - I'm seeing the Firefly eps in the correct order (ie, starting with Serenity as the 2-hour pilot instead of The Train Job).
