Eliza Dushku & Tahmoh Penikett to appear at Australian Supanova conventions. Two appearances in Perth and Sydney a week apart.

So close, and yet, so far...
I'm a few hours flight (or couple days drive) from either.

edit: and $400 for the Whedonverse Experience ticket? ouch...

Ooh, I didn't know Felicia had been announced for this event. Might be worth my while jumping over the ditch for this con! Although I must echo Adeptus' sentiment over the Whedon ticket price. So tempting. Especially since I've been wanting to fly over there to see Wicked anyway!
*Squee* I desperately want to go, but the tickets.. B-but Eliza! Tahmoh! Charisma! Felicia! :(
I went to the Brisbane one. I mean, James Marsters was cool and all, but COME ON!
No Melbourne!? This is f*#%ed.
I went VIP to the Melbourne ones this year and last year - the $450 tickets were very worth it. It's a shame how expensive these conventions get - I guess it's a side effect from having to fly the guests over. The Buffy/Angel/Firefly/Dollhouse Creation-Con in LA will have VIP passes for only US$380, with likely more guests. Still, this one looks VERY tempting...
ThorpeWithoutShrimp - if I'm not mistaken, the Melbourne Con took place in March, as did the one in Brisbane. I think I might just buy a day pass, it should be good enough.
I was at Brisbane SupaNova - while I love-love-LOVED meeting James Marsters (and Gareth David-Lloyd), and you can tell in my pic with the lovely JM, that I'm trying my best to keep from having a total fan-girl moment, but... still. It's beyond unfair (In my opinion), that Perth and Sydney get such a rockin' bonus for SupaNova. As I said when I found out, being a full-time University student doesn't lend itself to travelling cross-country very well.

Cardea - Melbourne and Brisbane SupaNova was in April. The Best and Worst April of my life to date. LoL
GAH stupid Brisbane why do I live here and not Sydney???
Felicia Day and Charisma Carpenter are also appearing at Supanova in Sydney and Perth.

Even if you don't get the Whedonverse ticket, you can still get a lot out of attending. It's just $50 for a weekend pass (which includes access to guest panels) and autographs/photos are reasonably priced.

I've attended the Melbourne event for the past few years and have had a great time. Sydney is looking very tempting too!
JenskiJen - Since this will be my first con attendance, how much are autographs usually?
cardea - it depends on the actor, normally $30-$50 is standard... Eliza for example is $40 but Charisma is $30.
