(SPOILER) Preview Pages For Angel:Barbary Coast #3 & Spike:The Devil You Know #1. Both are out tomorrow.

Can't wait to get my hands on S:TDYK (I have to wait at least 2 weeks for delivery)
I'll get Barbary Coast 3, I liked the first two parts of the series.

I'll wait for the reviews on "The Devil You Know", the preview doesn't look too promising and I don't have any interest inreading about macho-bizarro Spike, but I'm willing to give it a chance if the readers say that the characterization becomes better.
I normally get my books on Wed. but I'm tied up and can't get to the comic shop today so these will have to wait until tomorrow for me.

"The Devil You Know" was good. Williams has a decent handle on the character, and an exceptional grasp on the verse and continuity. He even worked a bit toward fixing an old continuity error (the fact that Angelus was said to be one of the Master's favorites in BUFFY, but showed him nothing but disrespect in ANGEL) with a flashback. Really solid stuff.

I still have to read #2 and #3 of BARBARY COAST, but the first issue was excellent.
I like it.

Whoever called Angelus to the Master(Darla or some minion) Spike's reaction (Awww ) was hilarious, even if Cross didn't stay close to photo-realistic drawings.
