Charisma Carpenter hosts The Art of Seduction: Vampire Lore. To be featured as a Blu-ray exclusive for the October 12th release of Lost Boys: The Thirst. You heard me.

The linked page also includes an embedded trailer for the film. My personal opinion? Compared to the disgustingly lazy and sloppy previous installment, this film actually looks kind of fun, possibly even decent. We'll see, or at least I will.

With this, The Expendables and The Fast & The Furious 5, Charisma is everywhere these days. I'm sure we can at least agree that's not a bad thing.

It's not going to be on regular DVDs?
That particular bonus feature? No. But, the blu-ray will be a combo pack, so you'll get both formats as well as a digital copy.
Hmmm. Well, I might buy this Blu-Ray then. I didn't really care much for the last Lost Boys film but this news tips me in favor of a purchase.

Thanks for the info!
There still hasn't been an official confirmation about Fast and Furious 5. You would think she would have mentioned it in one of her interviews at Comic-Con or during her press tour for Psycosis last week.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's true, but I'm not holding my breath.
I haven't watched any Lost Boys since the original - are they actually worth it then?
Lost Boys: The Tribe was a very disappointing sequel, IMO. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I had not thought of her as a host but I bet she'd make a great one.
I hope they pay homage to Corey Haim in some way.
@Jelly - Corey Feldman has confirmed in interviews that the film does include an homage or two. The film is also dedicated to Haim. In fact, though he had turned down a part in this third film (most likely due to not getting along with the makers of the previous sequel), he did have full intention of appearing in the fourth installment, were it to be made. Unfortunately, he passed away before further details could be worked out, obviously. :(
