D.B. Woodside talks season 7 to the BBC Cult site. "Did you keep a memento of your time? Yes, I stole a few things. I had to have a few Buffy stakes, just in case."

'First Date' aired last night on BBC 2 so what's happening is that the Beeb are releasing relevant interviews after the episode.

Anyway here's some trivia about 'First Date'. I never spotted the Synder tombstone and I forget the same vampire was in 'The Gift'.

Buffy movies? He seemed pretty positive that it would happen...only he made it sound more like they would happen...interesting.
"Scooby Doo crew" Too many 'oo's ;)

For some reason I always get a kick out of seeing people who are newish to the show talk about how much they like it and see how enamored they are with it- he's talking about wanting to go back and watch older episodes and he just talks so enthusiastically about the show in general- I dunno, I just get a kick out of that.
Re: the vampire from 'The Gift,': I'm pretty sure that the shot of the vampire coming around the corner is actually a clip straight out of 'The Gift' rather than the same vampire being recast for this episode...Don't ask me why, but I'm 90% sure that that's the case.
The trivia site is wrong about Xander's ultimately "renouncing womankind," too. He's only disgusted that he continues to be a "demon magnet," and reconciles with Anya over the next few episodes.
Awww... c'mon Maeve, you're breaking the hearts of Xander/Andrew shippers everywhere :-)
