Tour of Dark Horse Comics with Tom Lenk. Wherein Tom looks for pictures of himself in Season 8 comics and many exclamation points are used.

Damn. That looks like new cover art that's blurred out behind Tom's head.
OMG. There's a spoiler... right.. behind ...you.

Seriously, the issue 38 Season 8 cover should make this a spoilermarked entry.

The cover far down to the left, is it a Whedonverse cover?

Dr. Horrible.
It's a pretty small picture in the blog entry.

But if you click the picture, you go to the high quality version.
On another note, the article writer here, Kiala, is freaking hilarious!
I had no idea Chris Hardwick (The Nerdist) was in Rock of Ages? Or could sing. Or knew Tom. Or that there was such a perfect confluence of all the nerdy things I enjoy.

Also I'm so confused by the proper article they allude to ( http://www.portlandmercury.com/portland/from-buffy-to-broadway/Content?oid=2735658 ) where he brings up the roles of Amy and Anya? As in he was a guy who the actresses read against or he actually tried out for the role...?

EDIT: I just remembered Hard 'n' Phirmm, I redact the Hardwick singing comment. I think I forgot he acted aside from being a victim in Rob Zombie movies.

I'm more interested in the thing right beside the Chosen Collection box set. It looks like a thick Buffy book with Chen art on the spine?
The picture between Scott and Tom...anyone else think it looks like it was mucked up after the whole picture was taken?
Which I guess lends credit to the "It's something we haven't seen before" idea, as others have (and will) mention.

As for the thick Buffy book: Could that just be one of the special hardcovers of the first arc that were floating around awhile ago?

I second that! that was the cutest article.. wish the interview had been on tape LOL
@orangewaxlion - Hardwick played the Stacee Jaxx role in the LA & Vegas productions of Rock of Ages. (Amusingly, it's the same role that's currently being played by Amy Acker's husband on Broadway.)

I'm pretty sure that Tom means casting directors, Amy McIntyre Britt and Anya Colloff, who would've cast him as Cyrus, and seen him the other times he was requested to audition for other roles before landing Andrew.
I didn't see an interview, just the reporter talking about himself.

I've often wonderd if Amy McIntyre Britt's, Anya Coloff's, and Lisa Rosenberg's being on the staff influenced character name choices.

It doesn't say it's an interview. It's the author describing the tour. Also, Kiala isn't a "himself".
Sorry about that .
