(SPOILER) Covers and solicitations for IDW's Angel books In November. Angel #39, Spike #2 and Illyria #1 are all out that month.

November is gonna be a good month!

Yay W&H returning-and beautiful cover for the Angel too!
Let's hope you can't judge the book on it's cover, at least in the Spike comics case, because I'm really not ready to spend any money on another run portraying him as the roguish womanizer.

*looks through her issues of Shaddow Puppets and Asylum to gather faith*

The Jenny Frison Covers are incredibly pretty. I'd love to have an artbook with her work.
With Brian writing Spike, I have zero worries. Can't wait!
Angel is leaving IDW! According to the "Horsepower" page at the end of the Riley one-shot, expect "...the return of the Angel series to Dark Horse in late 2011, in tendem with our Buffy Season 9 relaunch".
IDW is gonna ruin me
Spike is not a womanizer in SPIKE.
Brian - can you give us any info regarding Angels move to Dark Horse? How will it affect Spike and what you are doing?
Like the Angel cover. Not at all keen on the Spike one for all sorts of reasons. :0
I have no idea. I may have more info later in the day, but I'm post-production on HOP so I'm kinda insular at this point. I'm just writing the scripts and having it line up with BUFFY season 8. The business stuff, I leave to the business people.
Chris Ryall just posted on the IDW board that they'll be addressing the Angel moving back to Dark Horse news soon.
ok thanks Brian. Hope we get more clarification soon.

Hope HOP is goin well!
Thank you, Brian!

Sorry, but bits I heard from the main line, really made me touchy on that subject.

...WHAT.
Ya Pat.....deprressing news:(
What. What, what what!?
We had no idea. It was announced that way.

Ryall is going to talk more about it later on.

As I said - goodbye Spike monthly, flashback comics, mini series, hardcovers, and Angel as his own hero.
That joint IDW/Dark Horse conference call kinda signifies SPIKE will be around for a little bit at least. Unless someone is punking me.
I've created a new topic so people can talk about it there instead of conversations happening over three threads.
