The Consolation of Philosophie the Vampyre Slayer. Over on Geoffrey Chaucer Hath a Blog, a description of "The Consolation of Philosophie the Vampyre Slayer", in an entry on "The Aeneid and Zombyes".

I don't know if it's because I'm exhausted from working all weekend (it must be ninety million days in a row by now at least), or if it's because I've had a few glasses of wine to relax, or if it's because I love the Aeneid so much, but this had me giggling uncontrollably.

I'm not sure whether "livre de visage" or "Zombie stag-of-Tyrrus-that-Ascanius-accidentallye-killede" made me laugh more...
I love Chaucer's blog, and it makes sense that he'd have the good sense to admire Buffy. I can't decide whether I love vampyre of confusioun about the coexistense of Goddes foreknowledge wyth human free will. or the zingie one-lyners better. The whole thing is a work of genius and should be pimped all over the livre de visage.
If John Gower HAD written "Exhaustiveleye Boringe Discussiouns of Penitential Theologie in Tetrameter AND HIPPOGRIFFS," more people would still be studying them today, I'm sure.
The whole post was made of win, but I think "the vampyre of confusioun about the coexistense of Goddes foreknowledge wyth human free will" is my favorite bit. Love it.
So. Effing. Briliant.

After I read it, I laughed ful deepe and called for wyne and spicez.

A Hoote.
Given a choice between Spyke and Plato, I would definitely go for Spyke!
