Merlin to return for fifth series? The show's producers and BBC are in talks for a fifth season of Anthony's show "Merlin."

I really enjoyed this show but for reasons unknown i stopped watching it when season 2 started. I'm planning to get get them on DVD and watch them that way.
Glad it's possibly going onto a fifth season :D

Pleeeeeeeaaase keep it going, BBC! I love Merlin so much. All the actors are top-notch, and the show in general is just terrifically enjoyable. And nobody else but ASH would be able to take a stubborn, close-minded, occasionally downright vindictive character like Uther and still keep him so sympathetic and oddly likable.

Sad to see it's taking a break next year, but as long as they keep turning out episodes, I'll keep watching!

I think this is a show that would greatly benefit from setting an end date at some point. It can't go forever, and there's way too much useless filler. I get that they want to drag it out a bit, but really it took until the third season before there was any meaningful change from the first episode. Merlin needs to start coming out, and as much as I love ASH, Uther needs to die.
