Mark Ruffalo to read Joss' Avengers script next week. He's getting his Hulk moves on.

I hope the readings feature on the DVD extras in some shape or fashion.
I'm right there with you, Simon. That'd be awesome.

Also: kinda jealous of Mark Ruffalo right now. Funny thing though: being a succesfull actor, getting cast in a major motion picture as an iconic hero and working with Joss on his biggest movie ever didn't spark that jealousy, but getting to read Joss' Avengers script early did. Not sure that's normal :).
I would imagine a draft of the script will get leaked at some stage, GVH, should you hypothetically want to read it.

Also, Ruffalo is still pronoucing it 'Josh', so I hope once they all see his name in written form, the Joss will start to come out - followed by some awkward "I thought you were Josh" moments.

AND, I know they [Ruff and Jr.] have been talking about "going over it" for a while now; so that should be interesting.
I love Mark Ruffalo.
He gives me a happy.
Go Mark Go!
He totally said Josh. Fail.
I'm not big on reading scripts because of the spoilers, but I'm eagerly looking forward to reviews of the script by those who've read them. So here's hoping he (or someone else in the cast) gives an interview with some intriguing but not too spoilery details about the screenplay!
We will know that Joss has been accepted as a major league director when actors get his name right.
(and stop talking about altering his script!)

You could argue when actors start getting your name wrong and want to change your script, then you've made it big. Ahem. Slap me.

Dodgy humour aside, I'm excited and more than a little hopeful about how this will turn out. It's a big ship joss has taken on here, and I wish him the best of luck. If he can wrangle everybody and everything to the screen successfully, this will kick his career up a notch.

At which point he can totally do a Dr Horrible Sing-Along-Blog movie. With Jane Lynch as Bad Horse. Just sayin'.
Isn't this the second time he said Josh? I thought I heard him in another interview.
Not sure about this still. I like the actor and all, but I still think many a fan will want to see Norton in the role. Oh well.
Oh and it's pretty clear that Ruffalo totally has no clue whether The Hulk will be the villain or not. Nice cover up, though!

After what FOX has pulled over the last week, I wouldn't be too hopeful about either of these things happening, not anymore.
I wonder if Joss has a cinematographer lined up. Jack Green loved working with him on Serenity, IIRC. And who's composing the music?
I used to be able to play the 'Eastenders' theme tune on the glockenspiel and am currently available. Just throwing that out there to anyone who might be listening.

(and Jack Green would be great, not just cos of the obvious talent he's bringing but I remember Joss saying that his speed saved time and money while filming 'Serenity' which couldn't hurt on an even bigger movie surely ?)
Plus he brings his own "Green team" made up of Greens of all ages.
