Tim Minear is on Twitter. Going by @cancelledAgain, poor man.

Tim had another Twitter account wherein you had to submit a request to follow him (private account - or maybe this is the same one and he changed the restrictions, dunno) - I gave up finally because really, he does enough at Facebook acknowledging people. But hey, if he leads, we will follow (are you sure you want this headache, Tim?). :)
Poor Tim. I do hope he doesn't get canceled one of these days. I adore his shows. As a TV creator, he is second only to Joss in my book.

Tonya J, I believe his account has always been @CancelledAgain, he just recently opened it up to the public.
His tweets get the sent-to-my-phone treatment. Definitely my favorite writer working in TV today (see how I avoided having to choose between him and Joss there? That's what you get for making movies :p).
Yeah it looks like he just changed the restrictions so that anyone can follow him. Which is neat.
Well, I've read wonderful things about Terriers but have yet to watch it. From what I understand, it gets exponentially prefixy - er...better - as it goes on.

You may be canceled, Mr. Minear, but you live beyond the grave.
If he's tempted to change the name (and has apparently been using it for awhile) is it since it's like acknowledging a curse? Or is it since the word might be spelled "canceled" (or so my spell check keeps telling me, even if I'd prefer the other way).
Both spellings are correct, orangewaxlion.
"Cancelled" is British and "canceled" is American, F.Y.I.

Tim Minear was probably the best writer in the Jossverse, and yes, I'm including Joss, himself.

I was just rewatching some The Inside last night. Best show never to make it to DVD, if you ask me.
Finally, I can follow him. And I see he says he's writing for The Chicago Code so that's something to look forward to in February.
I'm hoping that he opened his account the night before the Official Wake for Terriers (official wake name TBD) because he's taking part in @ShawnRyanTV's Q&A session. But that's just a hope that it isn't a coincidence.

And if you didn't already hear about the Official Wake for Terriers (official wake name TBD), @ShawnRyanTV will be answering questions about Terriers during the hours that it would normally have aired -- 10pm EST/PST, 9pm CST. (I have no idea about MST, does it usually air 2 hours behind EST or wait for PST?)
@Niels,

Certainly one of the best shows never to make it to DVD, indeed! :-(
Funny, I always wondered why spell-check didn't like "cancelled" even though that seemed to be the correct spelling to me. I'm sticking with it, even though I am American.

I only ever saw The Inside episodes that aired (on American tv). How would I track down the rest of it?
Sad but hilarious. Nicely done.
so I see he made it public now? must follow. I already do in facebook and I don't even like facebook
AnotherFireflyfan, The only way to watch The Inside in it's entirety is through illegal means, at least until it's eventually released on itunes or DVD. *fingers crossed*

You can email me if you want to talk more about The Inside.

Tell me about it. One of these days i'm gonna figure out why my British English dictionary add-on for Firefox apparently does bugger all cos i'm very over being told how wrong I am constantly. I dunno, one teeny little mistake with non-representative taxation and that's it, cursed forever ;).

Or move to the UK and wait a while ;).

(we got it all, albeit pretty far down the dial and varying schedule times anywhere from 11 pm to 1 am. And given that it was on ITV4 I wouldn't be a bit surprised if it gets repeated every now and again)

AFAIK there're absolutely no plans to release it on DVD (or iTunes) so personally I have even less problem with non-UKers acquiring it via "other means" than I usually do, particularly since it was good early on but only really started to fly from about episode 6 or 7 (IMO, natch).
