Emmy winning Buffy effects artist on Face Off. Glenn Hetrick, who won Emmys for his work on Surprise & Innocence, is one of the judges on this fun new Syfy reality show. "Face Off is a competition/elimination series exploring the world of special-effects make-up artists and the unlimited imagination that allows them to create amazing works of living art."

He was also nominated for Emmy's for Hell's Bells, The Zeppo & Welcome to the Hellmouth. He worked on Angel as well.

I only watched this because my hairdresser is friends with contestant Marcel, and I was pleasantly surprised to hear Buffy & Angel mentioned a few times. It was cool to watch the creative processes as well. Like Project Runway, but with fake gore instead of lace
We watched the first episode and was kind of bored. But the upcoming show looks good. I'll hang in there for a few more. I did like that the winner gets to critique the remaining contestants.

And yes, I got the whole Project Runway feel too.
Saw the first episode and thought it was fairly interesting. I don't know if I'll watch it regularly, but if it happens to be on, I'll keep checking it out.
