Alan Tudyk cast in Suburgatory. An ABC comedy pilot about living in the suburbs.

Oh please, please, please let this be good. I would love to see Alan every week on my tv!
Did anyone else think 'Underneath' when they saw this entry? Just me? Ok.
A sitcom about living in the suburbs? Like that hasn't been done before. What's he going to do, grow crops and keep goats in his garden? (reference for British people over 40)
Yeah, it crossed my brainpan. However, lets give an open mind.
If he was approached for a few, I can't believe they were all so devastatingly bad this was the best one. I'm going to give it a chance - suburb shows can be fun, and I hope it provides something new to the Cougar Town formula. This might be the beginning of their new Wednesday night comedy block, opening with CT actually. Hmm.
What's he going to do, grow crops and keep goats in his garden?

Well, here in the US 'burbs, the hot, controversial animal of late has been chickens.

Not just suburbs, but in the city too. They're now urban hipster pets. I just didn't know they were controversial.
He could remodel his house (The 'Burbs). Oh, I know! They could be secret Cannibals (Neighbors). Joins the PTA but doesn't fit in? (Harper Valley PTA) Or, or... Well heck. Fillion's a dad on TV, why not Alan? [pleasepleaseplease have a good plot, have a good plot]
I just didn't know they were controversial.

Yep: petitions, amendment proposals, pro/con columns, multiple city council meetings, irate neighbors, expert witnesses...
