The Serenity crew in stitches... quite literally.
The item on sale is the pattern for this adorkable masterpiece. Which means that you'll either need to cross-stitch it yourself, or ask someone really nicely to do it for you. Or perhaps you could ask the seller to make you one... for a higher price, of course.

I also wonder why Firefly gets crafted so much. Has anyone ever seen Buffy cross-stitch? Or those weird little crocheted dolls that only have eyes? Those things give me the wiggins.

It fits with the 'Verse ethic - it's a very crafty place.

Now, there's a question that hasn't crossed the room before. Ah, as far as I know, Buffy only made sliced & diced julicnne preacher man. However, I'm sure she has other talents as well.

Some pretty impressive stuff there. Whedon fans are crafty folks.
Despite my repainting Breyers, making dreamcatchers, and attempting to papier mache Buffy's Scythe, I'm really not that crafty. Mom, on the other hand, weaves beautiful rag rugs, and can even include pictures in her work: http://www.northwoodsweaving.com/inlay.html

Yeah, cute as this is, and it is waaay adorable, Inara's feet struck me as odd, too - couldn't figure out why you wouldn't just do them like this - unless they're trying to make some point which escapes me.
I love those Big Eyed/No Other Features Firefly crocheted dolls but they do give me the wiggins, too. They remind me of some of the creatures in the "Salad Fingers" animations - which, BTW, I love with a passion that passeth understanding.
There's a bunch of Buffy crossstitch stuff on flickr (some of which I think we've linked to here on WHEDONesque in the past). This crossstitch from "Hush" is one of my all-time favorites.
(There's a ton of whedon-y crafts out there, especially
Serenifly stuff - I love all of it: the Good, the Bad and the Beautiful. ; > )
ETF: typo. It's like there has to be at least one, or it's not me.
