Alyson Hannigan will be part of new American Pie sequel. "American Reunion" will be the lastest in the "American Pie" movie series, and Hannigan will be part of it along with Jason Biggs. Her character was last seen in "American Wedding".

I thought Alyson was one of the few redeeming qualities of the "original cast" American Pie movies. She made us laugh in the first, made us actually root for her and Biggs in the second, and brought it full circle in Wedding.

This is good news for the franchise in my book.
It wouldn't be 'American Pie' without Alyson! And I wouldn't consider seeing it if it wasn't for her.
But will this movie take into account the events of Beta House and The Naked Mile?!? Will they be canon??
Best scene: after helping Biggs out by "breaking up" with him in front of Nadia in AP2, she gets into her car and begins to cry. Aly tears- nothing more powerful!
Agreed. Hannigan is a peerless screen-weeper. But many of us will feel too old to watch yet another one of these things.
I can't tell if the description claiming this film is the "lastest" is a typo or a sarcy comment. Either way it amused me.
....eeek. I don't really like this :/
I generally hate it when any movie franchise goes on for as long as the American Pie series has. Three movies should be the cutoff point for most movie series. Not many of them stay interesting beyond that
I guess they'll probably call this one "American Family". As long as they're able to bring in ALL the original players there's a lot of potential for this to be an entertaining reunion-type movie. Otherwise its just another swing of the bat at the dead horse known as the American Pie franchise.
