Olivia Williams interview on CultBox. Ms. Williams talks about her current and future projects, and looks back on Dollhouse and working with Joss.

No real spoilers, apart from a general description of her role in "Case Sensitive" and a minor plot point in that. Mentions of and comments about "Hanna", "In A Forest Dark And Deep" and "Dollhouse".

I'm fairly sure I spoiler-tagged this when I posted it just to be sure, but maybe someone removed it. Apologies if I messed it up!
There's that bit: Would you like to work with Joss Whedon again if a part came up? "Yes! How did you guess? Yes, Id love to."

Which nearly gets my hopes up of "how did you guess we were secretly discussing a cameo in every one of his next projects" although in context it seems much more like "of course you'd come to that conclusion after gushing about what environment he creates for about three paragraphs.

Also I'm kind of curious who she might have been able to play on Lost, since implicitly it was one of the characters who must have been around towards the beginning even if she apparently doesn't know who?
Whoa, CultBox asked my question. :O
Olivia Williams always brings so much to a part. (/gush)

Off the top of my head I can only think of two female characters that appeared in the beginning and went on to the end. Kate and Rose. Then of course there was Sun but that character was specifically created for the actress when they didn't like her for the part of Kate.

I could see Olivia Williams as great Kate though. Especially since Kate was originally suppose to be a slightly older (than Lilly, I'm assuming) woman who was suppose to be the leader of the Losties much like Jack. The character was changed once Fox joined the show though.
Oh, I forgot that Kate started off older. I wondered if maybe she was supposed to be Rose or Rousseau. (She threw out the number six years, but since she doesn't know the specific role it could have been any female from earlier on the show even if they ended up killed?) Or maybe one of the recurring flashback characters.
The Sophie Hannah books are really good stuff; it will be a terrific role for her.
