Alyson 'O' Hannigan?
Ananova reports Alyson's been practising her orgasm technique for the new stage version of When Harry Met Sally.
Says Hannigan: "I've been practising all the time. She's a different person than I am so I imagine our orgasms would be slightly different. But I hope it will still be funny."

(One wonders, though, what husband "Alexis Denis" thinks of Alyson's faking it.)

Especially if she has that expression on her face that was shown in the picture! She looks like she's singing opera!

The UK is sick of US celebs coming over to slum it in the dying wastes of West End "theatreland". Gillian Anderson's West End show got slated even though it wasn't that bad according to The Guardian's theatre critic, because everyone is so sick of this. Go away, Matthew Perry, Luke Perry, whoever. Stick to films and TV, it's what you do best.
Exceptions can, of course be made for 1) a return visit from Juliette Binoche, who slummed it very beautifully in a creaking Pirandello vehicle at The Almeida for £250/week (!) a few years back; 2) Stellan Skarsgard, who only just got into films after years in the forefront of Swedish theatre.

The idea that actors should stay in one place and not experiment would have meant that ASH would never have been Giles.
And for an actor finishing a seven year stint in a show trying to show their range and avoid typecasting I would rate something like this better than Scooby Doo.....

Though, as "American Pie" showed, no one does cartoon sexuality better than our Alyson, so the deli scene should be interesting. (Will everyone in the audience be mouthing the "I'll have what's she got." punchline?)

the idea that actors should stay in one place and not experiment
Don't you see the contradiction? A theatrical retread of When Harry Met Sally is hardly "experimenting", is it? It's more tourist fodder, more tired, West End bollox that has nothing to do with creativity, art, anything interesting at all. Not exactly the kind of standard the JossVerse sets.
I see very little difference with the Scooby thing. Compared with most actors, Alyson Hannigan's had a universe of work in the past few years. It can't be for financial reasons (I assume that was covered by American Pie), so why do it? Is she really so MoR?
